How do you feel about the Paulo Bettini edition?

I bought some ladies' cycling gloves by mistake, if it's any consolation. I keep them for when I need to feel 'pretty'.

I think they are a bit "Hip Hop" for my very OTP Allez.
However I do like the colour scheme. The gold has the "bling" and the "rainbow" has the diversity. Interesting.

Does these feeling pretty happen when you are on your own with your pants down?
-

are these for a road bike or for riding fixed?
general consensus is that mtb pedals (specifically time atacs) are the best cleats for fixed, so then its just a pair of dominators in black

Almost always. With the gloves on, of course.

@Dancing James
For riding road.
EDIT: I can't get on with riding fixed.

hmmmmmmmmm, never saw you as the gender- bending type.
the shoes arent too feminine looking, but if you are going to go for it then the rest of your ensemble needs to be just, so. No use pairing that with tecno sunnies and black dominator clothes.
---reinvent the 'dandy'---if you like, for biking, but ultimately
"you must do what you feel is right of course" -

Have you seen the ladies shoes in person? They are....
well, let's just say way over the top. They look a bit demure in that photo, imo. -

sidi shoes are fucking ridiculous looking. i hate that technical bike clothing has to look so damn "technical"

This is why I've just ordered a pair of Adidas Pro Classic (from bikebuster.com in .dk, who still claim to have stock, bless 'em).

I had a tender gooch one day so popped into a certain bike shop to pick up some padded cycling shorts. I tried the mediums and was no chance. I went for the large and ditched my man-panties for the padded shorts to go under my baggies.
As I handed over to the cashier the tag I had removed, I commented on the fact that they were a particularly firm fit, and that the extra miles I had been putting in must have made my thighs develop. It was at this point as I was admiring my legs that he exclaimed in a packed shop, "oooooh.... NOOOOOO! Those are for LADIES!"
Dark times.

When I bought my nice black SIDIs nearly seven years ago, they first tried to sell me some absolutely hideous yellow, white, red, and blue SIDIs. I didn't know anything about cycling shoes back then, but I knew I didn't want those. Eurrgh.

Sorry, Lucas, but those are fugly
-
• #46
Well I disagree. The look quite nice on my feet.
They look like every other spd-sl shoes ... anyway the power transfer is awesome and I don't care too much about looks ... I am not that vain ... I am just ugly enough not to care.
Oh BTW ... for those who haven;t have guessed yet the thread was a bit of a joke, which came about a serious conversation.
