Kirth speaks the truth. People often buy two sizes of things and return one, so there is still a good chance of you getting one.

^ sites like jaeger we used to see people order a few grands worth of stuff in various sizes and then return most of it, then do the same a few weeks later for something else.

Two disaprate products I know but should I get the City Trousers or the cream rain jacket? I really need a decent lightweight rainjacket and I always need trousers.

i think if you are going to pay for nice but pricey bike equipment i would go for the item which has more 'technical' features. I.E. the city trousers are not much different from a normal pair of trousers but the rain jacket probably has a bit more technology in it.

It is safe to say I will not be repeating the experience ever again.

Lightweight- everyone knows Rapha is about epic suffering, in the case of their sandwiches they have introduced the suffering element via the financial burden that they impose.

Nothing like having to do three hours toil for one egg and cress sarnie.

I own Rapha gear. I love Rapha gear.

But I sat through two and a half hours of Batman and all I could think was

"£17.86 for two fucking sandwiches and a drink! £17.86 for fucks sake!"..

They didn't even have a napkin with an amusing anecdote about how Charley Gaul once suffered 5000 metres of climbing fuelled only on one single roasted vegetable and feta sandwich and a 32cl bottle of Luscombe Lemonade
