I quite like the look of the Rapha jersey but it seems a tad pricey. Anything of similar style (and still Merino) elsewhere that might be ore palatable to my wallet?

I'm not going to buy another sportswool jersey until I find one with a decent middle pocket. I've fucking had it with over stuffing the tiny Club jersey pocket. You can't even get a packet of jelly babies in it. They're BABIES ffs.

The middle pocket on the Longsleeve jersey (now superseded I think) is designed to fit a minipump, so is virtually useless unless you'd like to carry a salami, a cigar or dildo.

I've never had a problem with them... Country jersey, classic jersey or long sleeved are all fine to get a gillet/pump/other bits into.

I think it's a question of size (oo-er etc.) - on the smaller 3-pocket jerseys the two outer pockets are kept the same size, so the middle pocket has to be 'sacrificed' and made narrower. I've heard the women's jerseys have that problem too.

Conclusion is Miro should eat more pies

My jerseys are Small.

In any regular 3 pocket jersey I can get;

a gilet / softshell
a pair of arm warmers
a Rapha essentials case (a man purse)
a packet of Jelly babies
a couple of cereal bars (or a banana)

This is what I ride with on most longer rides (plus a 2x gels in the bibs). It's just not happening.
