  • ^Teething?^

  • well if they are married to each other i don't think they will be having children

    ha!

  • ... or just seething?

  • jim jams, you and I probably have different ideas about raising children.
If I were going to have a bet here, then next months wages would go on the accuracy of object's statement.

the key word here fruitbat is the word "probably" - you included it, Object didn't, and I'm being a stickler, sleep-inducing though that may be for everyone. But Object is making assumptions based on what he has seen of me without really knowing a whole lot and bringing the personal into a theoretical argument, which is reductive.

I believe this is usually referred to as "pointless ad hominem"..

  • Platini you are always funny but please don't speculate about my Bonjela needs.

  • PJ have you studied Philosophy and Linguistics by any chance?

  • no but I've got a HND in being a boring twat.

I'm sending myself to sleep here.....

  • Platini you are always funny but please don't speculate about my Bonjela needs.

    Here you go...

  • Poor Object hasn't even slept yet... :-(

  • ^ever...

  • At least I'm at home now. I've had 6 hours sleep since I woke up at 7am on Sunday morning.
Time to watch a film and wind down.

  • Parenthood?

    ;) xx

    have a good sleep dude..

  • Aaah!

  • night jon-boy

I'm a slow learner, but one thing I'm pretty sure of at this relatively late stage in my life is that when you make assumptions about people, their values, their morals, their motivations, you almost always get it badly wrong. When you then speculate on how someone would behave in certain circumstances, hypothetically, based on these flawed assumptuions, you will be spectacularly wide of the mark. Add a touch of judgementalism to the mix and the result is hilarious.....

Yeah, but that is just so typical of you and your kind...

  • Yeah, but that is just so typical of you and your kind...

Shit, you're right. Oh well, there goes that theory....

  • ^ Arf!

  • I got my new Medium Rapha Cap today. It's larger than it used to be, or maybe my head has shrunk.

I've heard they have just brought out a scarf that would go with that cap a treat.

It seems opinion is split on the value of it though...

  • We're on page 5, I'd say it was brilliant value for money.

  • When I order mine I'm going for this option..... keepin' it real yo!

Mine too. And I had to change my shorts for size 30! I've been 32 for as long as I can remember! What a topsy turvy world we live in.

  • Keeping couriers in work can't be bad though. If someone's daft enough to pay for it, so what?

  • given the right set of circumstances someone on here who had already posted their vehement disapproval of said hankie could actually end up delivering it as part of their day's jobs..
