  • Speaking of R+PS... Anyone know a place that might still have the short sleeve polos?

Paul Smith, Floral St. Mrs Brave got me one for my birthday.

  • i got one of those R+PS merino jerseys. I've worn it twice and

    • its stretch down my back
    • the lefthand elatic tie has come off
    • the stitching it coming away at the hip

    piece of shit.

^ sorry typing with a glass of wine in my other hand.

    Don't type angry

  • my style guru is costing me plenty dollars

    You too?

  • You too?

What can I say... I will cope with that. At the end of the day with great power comes great responsibility.

  • Droooomarrrrrrrrrrrrtiiiiiiii

  • I actually like those :(

  • Look comfy and I quite like the anodised buckle, the perforated leather is ok, but the contrast toe strap screams 'gaffer tape emergency" as much as it does rapha. Would like to see the black version but with a black strap. Seems like with the materials they've used they should make a casual/walk-able soled shoe aswell, like dromati.

  • Black ones look nice - guess I could get a pair and have them for best.

  • Is it just me or does some of the finishing/stitching on those (particularly the white ones) look a bit sub-par...?

  • i'd rather buy a pair of giro's at half of rapha's price

  • Is it just me or does some of the finishing/stitching on those (particularly the white ones) look a bit sub-par...?

    Thought the same myself actually.

  • isn't sub-par stitching in the bullet-point features list of almost everything they produce?
/still buys it. all of it.

  • /goes to give the piggy bank a good shake

  • i'd rather buy a pair of giro's at half of rapha's price

    This

the dexterity of childrens hands are not yet adapted to the strenuos task of sewing a pair of rigid cycling shoes.

nice soft nikes - no problem

  • Quick note to say I’ll be putting a large black Rapha softshell up for sale in a couple of days in the classifieds (like new <3months old, rarely worn). Give me a shout if you want first dibs before it goes beyond this group of Rapha-istas.

  • Very nice...
I'd rather buy Gaerne for 1/3 the price though.

Rapha has launched its first venture into the performance footwear market with the new Rapha Grand Tour Shoes. Having been developed in partnership with Giro. The Grand Tour shoes are the first to use Yak leather, a soft but highly durable leather specifically developed by specialists Ecco for the Rapha Grand Tour Shoes.

The ratchet looks exactly like the Gaerne one actually.

  • Yak leather? Sounds ethical....nope, can't think of any issues there......

  • the white ones look very much like no name sneakers

Maybe having someone yak on them is part of the leather tanning process. I should imagine that there will be plenty of the more notorious locals who were more than willing to oblige.
