Anyone have any opinions on the long sleeved shirt and trousers? Thinking they might be a good idea for days when I need to be smart. Shame I can't get away with wearing my black Sidi Genius 5s as smart black shoes
I have just got the bundle and the shirt and trousers (I already have one pair) are great.
The only thing I didn't like are the 'new' MKII trousers that have jeans style front pockets instead of seam pockets but I sent them back and have got a pair of the older ones with the (for me) better pockets. Rapha customer service is fantastic.
Are there any discount codes for Rapha going round at the moment?

WINTERRIDING
LOVEWINTERi have a couple of the shirts. i really like them as the fit is perfect.
if you have love handles or a gut they aren't for you, they are definitely cut for cyclistsIt's definitely fitted - I'm not built like a grimpeur but they are okay on me. (Just!)

Could you report back as to how successful the reproofing is? I am in the same position and would be keen to know if works out.
I can confirm after 101 miles of constant drizze and light showers, riding in a pack with a handful of people without mudguards that the Nikwax does indeed work. I've not worn the jacket in proper heavy rain since doing it, but I know that after 30 seconds the unproofed jacket would have been sodden through under the conditions I was in on Sunday. As it was, I was dry all day long. One of my favourite bits of kit just got better!

Just seen this from MW. Not sure about UK price, but the exchange rate puts it more or less in line with the new Rapha hooded top.

It looks nice but I'd be hard pushed to justify that over a Swrve hoody for the money.

it also lacks the windproof front of the rapha hooded top, no zip at the front, fewer pockets, and no way to secure the hood down to stop it flapping in the wind

Uniqlo wool trousers ftw
The Tasmanian wool ones? Got some in charcoal and navy, not to ride in though, but because I dress like Ian Curtis.

Those are the ones. Figure that you can get through four or five pairs per Rapha. A sentiment I'm sure Curtis would agree with. Plus they dry pretty quickly following rain.

Me too. Gonna try the womens rain jacket for size at condor this weekend, really hoping it fits. I very much DON'T want to spend £££ on a jacket, but every other one I've tried (tens of them) has been a shapeless pastel bin bag, so down to my last resort for staying dry this winter :/

I have the bright pink Paul Smith hooded top, but I'm too self-conscious to wear it. Anyone want to swap something or buy it knock-down?

There's not enough references to suffering for my liking.

Yep, it's a large. I was thinking £90, knocked down from £140, because it's pretty much new. Anyone interested?

£90 is out of my price range i'm afraid. Was it new from store or from the sample sale?
