I'm really liking these most recent films.

That guy in the Galibier film...he was manning the Rapha van at a sportive ride/weekend I was at recently, flogging t-shirts etc. the night before the ride. Next day he'd riding, but on his todd, so joins in with our group at the front. I was riding along thinking "shit, this fucker can ride and doesn't seem to be stuggling with these climbs!". Think he came in first across the line.

Few days later that video goes up on the Rapha site and I realise he's in half their videos/catalogue photos/continental films etc. No wonder he was flying up the poxy hills of Northumberland!

*Would also be interested in securing some buying/posting on action if any helpful Southrons were minded to help a poor Notherner out. Would be nice to know what they have and the prices, mind...

£125 is right pricey, even though it's a very nice bag. If anyone wants one just as nice, but a bit less pricey then I've got a brand new unused one which I'd be happy to part with for one hundred gold coins.

Fate has brought me to London this weekend, hoping to get to the sample sale at some point, but just wondering what sort of queues to expect, as I amn't around for that long...if anyone experienced in these matters could enlighten me that'd be much appreciated.

Yeah, apparently all the good stuff is gone after the initial rush. Only XL is left but about an hour after it opens. How early you have to be there to be in the initial rush is anybody's guess.

Cheers guys, I was debating whether or not to go, as I will be off work sick having had an operation on my throat a couple of days before hand, but you have just made my mind up for me I don't think it would be the ideal place to be while off my tits on heavy duty opiate based painkillers and potentially in a lot of pain still. Plus there would have been the added risk of throwing up blood on the nice folk from Rapha's stock.

They tend to add stuff over the course of the weekend. Went down there early on the first day last time and there wasn't much about, but popped back on the sunday and picked up some 3/4 Bibs and a jacket.

My plan is to find a very small softshell for Mrs Quinn and some very big gloves for me.
anything else nice is a bonus.

was it at the truman brewery last time? I've only seen the que out of condor before and thought better of it. Might give brick lane a go though, does anyone know where in the truman the 'loading bay' actualy is?

If one were cynical you could see this as an elaborate ruse! But seriously Bobbo, get well soon. Unfortunately, my selfish sister in law has her wedding booked for this weekend, so I am unable to help with Rapha stuff. Anything else you need, we are all here to help.

I'm debating whether to go to work on Friday or nip out for an early lunch. The only problem is that our office is almost empty and we're busy...

...but as all I want are bibs, I'm thinking how long can it take.
