considering it - I don't have anywhere else to be, but my last sample sale (two years back?) was unpleasant/agressive enough, I doubt I could handle the exposure to oversized bargain hungry hoi polloi this time around.

I got there at 9:30 this morning and there was already a queue. Got inside about an hour later! Some good bargains in there though.

If there are any short sleeve base layers, tailored shirt etc. in size L - I have up to £100 budget for those. Don't think there will be any jacket for these sort of money.

Managed to pick up some hats, merino, leather town gloves, books, shirts and trousers. Fantastic prices, very chuffed.

Any update on queue at the moment? Taking an early lunch and heading over soon. Hoping will be able to get back to work at a not too stupid time...

they had a some merino base layers, long sleeve for £25. was going to get but didn't really need as i've got a great icebreaker

Be warned people - do NOT buy the boxer shorts. They are the most uncomfortable things I have ever worn - honestly.
