  • should have let my ex wash it, then it would be grey and fit a action man,.

    omfg

  • So then. I've fought shy of Rapha for fear of looking like a poncing dandy-fop but my feet are frozzed.

What are their "Winter Socks" made of? Are they a better product at £40/3 than the merino at £30/3?

  • Winter socks are heavy wool. Fucking ace.

  • DynamicalSystem they're a better product for winter as they should keep your feet warmer. Value wise about the same, as they are thicker than the merino socks but £10 more. I've just ordered one of those packs, so I suppose I must be convinced.

  • FWIW, though Brasher boots are pish, their Wool Ultra walking socks are very nice indeed. Icebreaker also do a superb thick mountaineering/walking sock which I can't recommend too highly.

  • Said it already, will say it again. Rapha is for nounces.
Overpriced wannabe cycling clothes. Instant fail IMO.

  • Do you do much road cycling?

  • anyone want a brand new pink stowaway/wind jacket i have one for sale.
size medium. they are out of stock until mid december.
£160 collect from sw or meet central.
i could return it but maybe a forum person is after a size medium and doesn't want to wait.

  • most Rapha kit I see is on guys in the upper echelons of the cycling world, managers and that, people that dont ride every day, but get paid handsomely, all you other guys are just jealous ;-)

  • Fuck Rapha, I cycle in Timbs and Wu-Wear

  • Surprise Rapha x Paul Smith bundle coming for my birthday thanks to the missus... Overpriced... Don't care :D

  • it's not overpriced when you get it as a present.

  • It's not overpriced if you're Jonny Rau.

  • Do you do much road cycling?

I cycle on the road, probably not so much comparing to loads of others here.
Does that mean I'm not worthy of Rapha? What if I did, would Rapha become
acceptable then? Does £50 for a cycling cap seems fair to you? Or £300 for a wind braker?
    Fail in my book.
Worst even is that more than half the people wearing it (for sure), do it to impress rather
than for being the best choice. It actually isn't!
Base your choices in fashion and looks, that's absolutely fine, and I'm with you.
Tell me you buy Rapha because it's the best thing you can get... >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>just f*ck off.

  • cunt.

  • so what is the best you can get at that price point?

have you looked at the cost of assos?
