Have no interest in promoting deia, just find it interesting that their advert is about how rapha is an old man brand, and they are not. Rapha used to be the upstart now they are the establishment.

One day Simba, this will all be yours.

Deia ad is vile.

It's just bland PNS, UC ripoff kit with a "viral" video to get talked about. worked here

• #38631
But.. did you think you (we) wouldn't get old?

The concept and production are both terrible. It’s the worst first impression a cycling brand has ever made on me.

spat my coffee out

Nope. But I assumed the brand would refresh itself and reach new audiences who were as excited to know it existed as I/we were, when we first heard about it, started buying it in sample sales.
And maybe they are, I see plenty of Instagram cycling feeds with videos of young people riding bikes and wearing rapha, but is that because rapha so dominates that cycling as sportswear space (so much so that you get ads like deia, positioning them as the establishment), or because it’s still cool? I don’t know. -

It's either:
A solution to a problem that doesn't exist
or
A commuting jersey for people who "run hot" on their commute -
• #38642
Insulated midlayer for commuting in cool conditions and everyday wear
The rear pockets look like they should be in the hacks & bodges thread here.
The price is absurd.

It looks like a fashion school project where the brief was “redesign the UPS drivers uniform for the 22nd century”
-
• #38647
The other colours are kind of boring too.
-
• #38648
I've never understood anything short sleeve and insulated. I'm fully tuned into gorpcore, but even I can say Rapha has lost the plot.

I'd eat there

Micro greens would definitely be part of the palate cleansing course there...
Yet the Deia studios stuff is exactly the same as PSN. Has the same mission statement, same plain colour just a different logo.
At least Rapha at its outset actually offered something different that hadn’t really been seen before.
