These swrve shorts are so durable, comfortable and genuinely look nice https://www.swrve.co.uk/collections/shorts/products/lightweight-wwr-reguler-short-1. The hem rolls up nicely if they hang a bit long. They are synthetic not cotton. Better than my rapha pairs, especially the pockets. My randonnee shorts have zippered pockets which is dumb. Technical shorts shouldn't have side / chino pockets with zip, just need top down pockets (swrve have these)

I think I have five? pairs of Randonee shorts.
One navy pair is probably 4 or 5yrs old, they don't wear the same as canvas on a saddle, they have piled slightly in the inseam though from the it though. I've killed multiple pairs of Levis in under a year before (since they discontinued the commuter ones).

Even cheaper; cover your stupid cambibum in duct tape.

Haven't seen those in stock for years.

I've got a pair of these from around 2010 that's still going strong, they've seen an awful lot of commuting miles.

Because of this I went to the swrve website and bought trousers and a cap. I wonder if either will fit...

Think I will go for swrve shorts then once I figure out the difference between all the different models!

There’s so much to dislike about them but they are sooo comfy!

I had the previous iteration of the cotton ones but with the cambium I'd go for the synthetic WWR ones I linked to but obvs up to you

I have both. The gilet is so light, really brilliant bit of kit. The jacket is also great but I dont love it like I do the gilet. I did size up for the gilet, not sure if the ultra tight, keep your core tensed at all times, vibes of the jacket in that size is part of it though.

This is an old IPad Air but it is running Chrome and the website just does not work on it. Checkout fails and logs me out at the same time. Of course phone browser is fine.

Any tips on how to get the waterproofing on some PT Winter Bib tights working a bit better again?
Read plenty of 'buy some nikwax' or 'iron them', but wondering if anyone had something a bit more proven/comprehensive..

Nikwak or similar and tumble dry

Heat can reactivate the DWR treatment, so iron or tumble dryer. Washing with detergent can remove the DWR.
Other option is wash with Grangers tech wash, spray with Grangers repel. Then iron or tumble dry.

I’ve definitely been a bit wussy about the dryer. How long and hot in the tumble dryer for?
-
• #36743
How long and hot do you like it?
-
• #36744
Tell me how long and hot I should have it.
-
• #36745
Like you want it hot but not too hot, and just long enough that it does the trick

Are the long bib shorts any longer in the torso or just the leg?

• #36747
Cool - do I leave the money on the nightstand again?

Ordered some socks in the rapha sale after Christmas, there was a bit of delay in them arriving, not so much as to bother me to complain. I've just had a e-mail to say sorry with a 10% discount code.
Nice gesture, also savvy, I wasn't think about buying anything, but I am now.

Just the leg.

Thank you
Yeah right, I’ve got some cotton ones which I thought were rando but they’re apparently cotton summer shorts
