I probably paid a fiver at a staff sample sale, I doubt they'll replace them years after I left...
-
• #36028
Ah I thought they were last years pink classics. Ie not a sample :)
Nae bother then -

It's now your 'Sugrunature look'.

Have you forgotten how much of a big guy on campus you were????????????????
-
• #36031
I must have. Plus, is there anyone we knew left? Staff turnover is so high.
-
• #36032
Perhaps me more than you as I left later. But there's a difference between people I know who are still there and people I liked who are still there hehehehe

That affects me.

I messaged them specifically about the ‘seeing ones arse’ problem and they reckon they’ve fixed it with the new batch of core bibs.
I put in an order for core cargo today with the refund voucher of said transparent core bibs. Ad infinitum if necessary.

• #36036
Don't worry. You're safe ;-)
-
• #36037
Hope this turns out to be true. Because I just ordered a pair too. Wouldn't want to have others seeing ones arse.
-
• #36038
Interesting, thanks for sharing. Did they mention when this came into effect?
-
• #36039
They didn’t, but the core bibs currently on the site have a new season tag. Probably reflects product changes.
-
• #36040
I had a pair of core bibs that went see through, customer service replaced them with a new pair that use the different material and they’ve been ok so far
-

Cheers for the headsup on this, my core cargo bibs are going a bit see-through too, will ping Rapha an email.
-
• #36043
No worries - don’t get fobbed off with a 40 quid voucher when they offer it...
-
• #36044
Hah, my old core bibs have been relegated to under tights duty only - as requested by my other half.
-
• #36045
Surprising Core/nudist movement in this thread. maybe Rapha should cash in on it.

Did get the £45 voucher offer. Tempted to take as I guess can use them for turbo only to avoid getting done for indecent exposure.

Returned 2/3s of my recent order for fit issues. Sizing felt ok-ish but cut was strange.
I returned the Explore glasses because they're just an odd geometry. The lenses are perfectly perpendicular to the arms (which are also a bit low on the frame imo) which means there is a huge gap between the bottom of the glasses and your cheeks. A simple tilt like most visor-style glasses have would fix that.
Returned a Classic jersey because it was bunching up a lot under my arms. Admittedly it was a risky move ordering a jersey in white but I have an older Classic II jersey in black which fits very nicely.
Perhaps too late I've started looking more closely at the product photos. If you look at the model shots with the Explore glasses you can actually see that they don't really fit in the photos either -
And likewise with the Classic jersey, many of the model shots are with the jersey unzipped. Even on a skinny guy the jersey is bunched up a bit -
So now I'm in two minds about ordering something else. I like the look of the Pro Training jersey, but all of the on-bike shots seem to show a lot of laddering of the fabric at the sides of the (Legion of LA) riders.
Anyone got the Training jersey in hand and can comment on the fit?

@exteroceptive I have a pro team training jersey, they honestly seem quite generous for pro kit size than other brands. I’m 75kg, 180cm, a small, kits great but obvs you need to be happy with a close fit.
Rapha EF kit drop finally. Are we a yay or a ney future classic? Ie. Do I buy 3, keep one for myself and sell the other two as an investment?
