Nice one. I’ve hit the buy button on a medium too. Hopefully the fit is good for me too

Got a PT insulated gilet today. Lots of nice details, including a loop in one of the pockets with 'merde!' printed on it. What is this for?!

I’d always assumed mini pump.

• #35511
I guess that makes sense. Not something I can say I've ever thought I needed...

On the subject of random words, isn’t this a bit sexist?

Do you mean "Greg Siple and his wife June" vs "Greg and June Siple " or June and Greg Siple "? Or am I just missing something more obvious?
-
• #35519
I'm unsure what the contention is as well. However, I think "Greg and June Siple" could be confused for being siblings.

I think "Greg and June Siple" could be confused for being siblings.
"June Siple and her husband Greg" would solve that.
-
• #35521
Indeed, just seems a bit everyday sexism.
Married couple Greg and June Siple. -

Could have been father and daughter?
I'd (like to) do a trip like that with my daughter. But she is 8, and had 6 year old twin brothers. There is probably around a zero % chance of me doing a five hour ride, let along a three year one

Grammar is not my forte but I don’t think, if you mentioned they are married and a couple that many would incorrectly assume they are father and daughter.
-
• #35524
Mildly, yes. Still, at least they didn't refer to the lady in question as Mrs Greg Simple.

To be honest, the copy seems to have skipped quality control entirely. 'Making them' is redundant. The second sentence is a mess, and the third repeats the 'catalyst ... for bikepacking' bit.
The Rapha medium seems to have grown in arm length over the past few years, AFAICT. Probably for my body type, which is tall but narrow. The old medium long-sleeves were an inch short at the wrist, which was a real shame as I love some of those old jerseys.
