Given that some people on here can't change tyres it'd probably be quite informative.

an aside: last night VB and I were trading tales of Rapha clothing falling apart - far more than there should have been given the price they charge...

He's the mechanic at Dauphin at the top of Box Hill. Very good mechanic and a decent bloke too. -

this has to be a piss take, how to set up a bike, just go to 56a in camberwell and either they will show you or show you where to find a community bike workshop, or go to a bike shop and ask if you can work Saturdays for them.
then again the city types who will be there will probably be there more for the fact that its put on by rapha and is sponsered by colnago than for the basic bike fixing skills they will learn, that and the nibbles. -

They just sulk and act sullen about the prospect of giving you free stuff, and you end up feeling pity for them. That, and thinking that the replacement will be just as bad.

A friend bought me two tickets for the Rapha night tonight where they are building a bike from top to bottom as a present.
Don't want these to go to waste but I have to go to football with my dad so if anyone wants them whisper me now and I will send the email confirmation over.
Nice one,
P.

Why are they building a bike from top to bottom as a present (for whom?). And why would this be considered somethign worth seeing?
So many questions.
-
• #373
I don't know but this is no place for cynicism as someone may want to see them do it. To be honest I don't even want to go to the football, I just want to go home and watch TV but there we go.
