Has anyone added a bottom zip tuck to their jacket or gilet? The double zipper comes open on my pro team gilet, snagging my bibs. It’s quite frustrating that it doesn’t come with one!

Got a similar problem with a pedal ed jacket so a solution would be good.

Just checked my new proteam gilet and it doesn't even have a zip-lock (jeans style) to keep the zip in place... Slightly disappointed. (Didn't have a chance to wear it yet, mostly staying at home)

Can you put in a snap fastener, or velcro on inside of jacket/zip-guard?

It could do with this on the bottom of the zip.
Can anyone advise if this is a ridiculous idea?
My concern is it’s so obvious that there must be an issue with it.

Is your issue snagging or the coming undone or both?

Coming undone 2 inches . Pedal ed said that was normal . Total blks in my view . I am prepared to take it to a repair shop and pay to have it altered or a proper zip put in.

Is there another saver promo or is that it? I should have got a couple of Brevet items but chickened out.

Does anyone ever use a two way zip!?

All the time. If you need to get to anything in your jersey pockets, it’s the easiest way. Also stopping for a wee

Yes, all gilet and jackets should have them

Lies!

I think they are stupid. They just come undone all the time and solved a problem that never existed.

Ok sizing question I have a 40” (100cm) chest I usually wear a 42” jacket, size large shirt etc. would I be a large in a Brevet Jersey? This is my first foray into Rapha.

Yes

I the double zip gilets much more useable than the ones with a zip above the jersey pockets intending for you to reach through to access a pocket.

Is the problem not that zips lock by putting the tab down, which in the case of a double zip, the second one is upside down and therefore is fighting gravity in order to stay in the locked position?

Quite possibly.
To me the ideal insulated version would have pockets like the pro team but a single zip like my brevet and back insulation. I prefer the pro team collar mind. Although the roll loop of the brevet is good too.
They are both nice pieces and probably my favourite items just not quite perfect. It’s somewhat ironic that people like the double zip for pocket access yet they are in effect on the wrong pieces. Maybe the newer brevet has a double zip though? -

For context, I like double zip in general, can't comment on Rapha ones, maybe they always come undone(?) - had no issues with Endura/Milltag/Chrome. I like them for mechanical cooling but pocket access is handy.

What’s the deal with used Brevet jerseys on EBay? I’m looking for a blue or a plumb NWT and used ones are going for $125/£100.

Anyone else had the core bib shorts going threadbare at the back pretty early on? I had to return the first set I got due to loose stitching, and then the replacement pair have started going see through at the back surprisingly quickly. Pretty disappointing, it’s not an area that is in touch with the saddle or anything and I am not rocking my hips or squirming around inappropriately

Haha. Good to know it’s a design fault then and not due to a dutty wine cycling style that I’ve been totally unaware that I’ve developed over the last six months
Go Classic (or Brevet Reflective).
Explore would be way too thin/ventilated/cold, they're more akin to Giro DNDs.
