I like the idea of being stiff for pedaling but still very walkable. Quite tempted by a pair.
this. I've got giro empire vr90 now and it sucks to walk in them. Feels like planks tied to my feet. Can't imagine running in them.

I want shiny new rainbow walkable shoes but don't want to change pedal system from speedplay
-
• #32929
you must be new here. buy a new bike that needs 2 bolt shoes to justify new shoes

with the intention of (being a yuppie) having two pedal systems I bought 2 pairs of same shoe (cx237), one road; one mtb but now have only used MTB because of walkability and these pedals which are almost as light as a road pedal.

yeah but single sided entry? no ta. I have a set of speedplay + shoes that are set up midsole and a pair of spds + shoes for when I'm going off road. best of both.

I know I am 3 days late, but the 'explore' shoes are 'mtb' shoes right?
Are we just not allowed to use that name? -
• #32935
No.

Your can call them whatever you like.

Although, an MTB shoe usually has holes for studs to be attached.

A few months ago, I went into the Bicester Rapha store, just to have a mooch around.
I found a really cool neon pink jersey in the mens side of the shop. I tried size Large and I couldn't even get it past my shoulders, so I even went for a XXL and it felt tiny? Was this labeled wrong? It literally felt like it was made for a child.
I asked the guy behind the till, and he told me it was correct, but I don't know if it was.
I take a size L in t-shirt and XL in Italian brands

Close, hockey skate warmers. I believe.

I think their stuff has (somehow) sized down again. I replaced a pair of padless winter tights in xs and the newer version was even smaller. But regardless the fit of some of the pro team stuff is proper tiny - you have to be very skinny and even then it either fits exactly or not at all.

Will the lightweight brevet jersey be returning?

Just got them explore shoes. When I noticed Rapha's comments that the sizing is quite similar to giro I was pretty sure I'd need to return them but they seem to be a little bit bigger than giro.
They fit snug and comfy and look absolutely dope. The strap near the nose of the shoe seems to be more style than function sort of thing - it doesn't seem to tighten anything (unless i pull it real hard which i haven't tried yet). My toes of left feet touch the end-side of the shoe a little bit but maybe it's no biggie.
Once again - they look absolutely fire.
