Road my first F500 ride with the jacket on Xmas Eve. Started about -4degC and dark.

I was wearing base layer, training Jacket, Insulated Brevet Jacket on top and then the high viz for visibility.

It was good fitting and visibility, but found that moisture was getting trapped underneath it. After the sun came up I took off the high viz and wasn't any colder.

Rapha website is a shit show. Barely functions and is like return to dial up speeds.

Apart from that the heavily discounted prices are only on the shitest colours and in XS/not available. For this reason, Dragons, I won't be investing my five shilling note in this enterprise.

You realise this is the exact purpose of sales? Discounting the slow selling lines to increase sell through for new season launch. They’re not going to reduce the margin of popular colours when they’re selling well

You realise that for customers to want to purchase from a sale, the products have to be appealing regardless of price?

Most of the items discounted at any significant percentage have a pic of a popular colour way. Click on it and you find it's the shite colours at that discount, with nicer design at almost full price unless sized for one of Hippy's midgets.

So yeah, misleading customers as to potential bargains is going to create disappointing results. Me, I prefer not to ride around looking either like a bumblebee or like I'm fleeing a bishopric in my scarlet robes...

Also go down the high street ATM.

Rapha doing it the other way around. Most stuff almost full price, only a few shiters with decent discounts. Maybe they are just compensating for the fact they're having sales bi-monthly these days?

Every item I clicked on in the sale took me to that colour way and it was discounted the amount that it stated on the main page. Are you sure you're not doing something wrong?

(Obviously it's not like previous years where they've separated each price point to its own individual page, so you could look at the other colours and get different prices, but it still seemed perfectly clear and honest)

Doing wrong apart from the website being a shit show and taking an age to load you mean ?

Not checked since first day of sale to now-seems clearer but still pretty poor-i.e cargo bibs shorts "up to 30 percent off" but in practice only dark green in XL.

Lots and lots of unloved purple jerseys going to be hitting Wiggle in a few weeks...

I literally ripped a massive hole in my rapha city socks pulling them up about an hour before I got the sale email. I went on the site thinking i might pick up a couple of pairs to replace them, my user experience was 100% like @übé®_grübé® it felt like a huge bait and switch. I was ready to buy some socks but after playing hunt the actual stock and seeing all the other out of stock range at much lower prices I ended up deciding I'd go look at the proper sales elsewhere.

I can see it both ways, I picked up the pro team lightweight bibs in black and black and a block fade jersey.

However there are items like the essentials case in stock in only navy and black, which are non sale colours, return in the sales section from the start of the sale.

Well I'll give a positive shout out to Rapha. I got a v reasonable/generous amount of vouchers for the kit that the paramedics cut me out of. I can't think of another company that makes the same gesture as standard practice. The online form was also easier to use than the previous way of getting something repaired.

Do you have any other pro team bibs? I can barely stand in mine, the straps are so short. Good luck

I have the pro team aero bibs and they’re the same, I even tried a size up and they weren’t any different

My Brevet ones are worse for that. I returned some classics as they seemed to rise up at the front on long rides which doesn’t happen with the Brevet ones.

All of you with your tall and skinny problems... I have the issue where the leg grippers are often around my knees...

Brevet Bib Tights II are so high in the front it is near impossible to take nature breaks without doing a yoga pose.
