One of those Paul Smith track bikes is on discount in Mercian. Down from £2800 to a much more reasonable £2500
-
• #3153
I will wait till it's on sale for £2300.

I would LOVE one of those Paul Smith bikes, but I'm not paying £2,500.
I would also love a Tourmalet jersey, to remind me of one grueling and satisfying day I spent there, but it looks like crap.

There's one thing I dislike about Paul Smith stuff - it's faddish.
faddish? do you know the first thing about paul smith?
-
• #3156
Yes, that his stuff is being bought by faddish people. Nowt wrong with it, but this is how I see it. I know what I'm taking about, as I own a couple of things myself.

• #3157
Mine still fit, pedal faster.

I've got one of those Paul Smith wallets. It was about 45 quid from the sale shop in the Royal Exchange and has got a nice picture of a bird with her tits out on the inside. Can't say fairer than that.

So who would buy a Paul smith rapha wallet if it had a picture of assos girl without her arms crossed on the inside?
-
• #3160
If it was on sale.

I'd buy 10 and stuff a wad in each of them.

I keep my cash in my sock, wallets, Meh!
-
• #3164
What makes you say that.
I wonder who designed it, Stevie Wonder maybe?
I like it.
And with regard to the Paul Smith collaborations... so what? I like the washbag.

All of this chatter is meaningless, the only important question is whether the Rapha Café will be screening the Tour de France every day.
-
• #3168
They'll be closed by then won't they? I thought the Raphé was only gonna be open for three months?
-
• #3169
It is, starting from May to July.
-
• #3170
V, it's all about the tour. They close on the last day of the tour.
The real question is, what will you be wearing to watch the tour at Raphcaf?
-
• #3171
something slutty

The Raphé will definitely be screening the tour live (or as least as much as we can find. Please dont make us rely on Eurosport again). When its not live we'll have highlights of the previous day(s).
During the Giro we planned to start a tradition of Grappa for every british stage win. (Admittedly, that only lasted until the end of the Prologue, but that wasnt entirely our fault. If Bradley had stayed on his bike more, there might have been more drinking.) Anyway, expect something similar (although maybe a little more french themed) if Cav can stay upright long enough to win a stage or two..

What is the AWESOME sparkling red wine you can get? I think we need that.
-
• #3175
Banrock Station do a sparkling shiraz. Could it be that? Tastes like fizzy Ribena, hits like a sap to back of the head.
If it only had red instead of white panels. It'd say 'I'll hate you better'
