Rapha, nice but a bit pricey?

For me yea, it's always a problem.

Another hand in the air for cargo bibs, the idea of having your phone in an easy to reach pocket and not dripping in sweat sounds great! Whenever I finally acquiesce to spending north of £100 on shorts I will get a pair, it's a difficult transition period making the jump into spend the price of a bike on an outfit but I'm getting there ;)

I'd be lying if I said I haven't been considering an Evoc Hip Pack for mountain biking but that's an entirely different kettle of fish...

Argh, I was fighting with myself the last days not to order these cargo shorts to enrich those Walmart guys, but in the end I was sold on the pockets from the very first pic I saw and ordered today.

Rapha to sponsor EF/Cannondale/Drapac [or whatever they're called] in 2019 apparently. You heard it here first. Unless you didn't.

Odd decision if true

Having been bought by American investors, it could be a move to open themselves up to the wider US market.

I reckon Rapha would do a good job with the pink, green and argyle stylings.

Why's it odd? Slipstream is the only American WorldTour team I think. US based, US bikes, some riders.

Trek and BMC are also US registered teams.

They have the added bonus of actually having some race winners in their ranks.

Rihs owned BMC, and he put his own money into Team BMC. He passed away last month.
