You won't be disappointed, very happy with mine.

My PT socks have been out on four rides and they are not holding up too well, not that impressed durability wise actually. Plus they have L marked on both?

Large?

Lol

I'm XL, I guess that's why then, I thought they were a bit tight.

How's your dancing?
-
• #28433
Shite haha. Btw in my defense of sounding like a complete dumb cunt I have other sports socks marked left/right due to compression patterns or some such bollox so assumed Rapha would do the same.

Slipped out on a gravel dusted bend earlier causing me to slide about 5m along the ground on the side of my ass. Legs absolutely destroyed with road rash and blood pissing cuts yet not even a scratch or scuff on my pro team shorts.
Both surprised and relieved, I've never had a pair before and I knew Rapha stuff was of a high quality but I didn't think it was that tough.
10/10 would crash again.

Distinctly unimpressed with Rapha gloves. Softshell ones developed a hole at the knuckle, now the normal short finger ones have start to unstitch themselves. Haven't used either pair all that much, as I bought them in the recent sales maybe a month or two ago. Boo.

Are the classic mitts any good?
Cheers -
• #28437
They're great until they start to unstitch themselves after about 30 hours use.

Also crashed today. Cobbles in Flanders. PT jacket and bibs both have cobble dirt imprints but no damage. Thumb not so lucky but will heal. Voltorol FTW.
Finally - Arenberg first timer. Go!

@h20, seriously? that sounds incredibly short lived for Rapha.
cheers for feedback -
• #28440
Yeah, am mightily pissed off.
-
• #28441
@h20 I've just ordered some so might take em back without even trying them.
Have you tried the repair service on them? Been into the shop to complain? -

Anyone worn both the classic and pro team bib shorts?
I have the classic bib shorts and they are great. Looking to order another pair. Just wondering if I should spend the extra and go for the pro team bib?
-
• #28443
Just happened today, so am going to be contacting them tomorrow to figure out what to do.
-
• #28444
Yep I have both and prefer the pro team. Nicer cut and they feel great. Are worth the extra IMO.

I've also experienced this with the softshells (although choosing a larger size I suspect would have avoided the issue). After some unstitching issues, I've realised it's partly due to the way I was pulling them on (normally tbf) but I find pulling from the padded palm to cause less stress on the fine stitchwork of the cuffs etc. Still use mine with gaping holes between fingers and cuff but love them in all honesty. Wish they were still in the range. Great work/town/commuter glove.

Yes. Verry different fit. I have medium in both (75 kg/ 186) and in hindsight should really have small classics as the mediums seem like clown pants after wearing the proteam. Classics have a cushy pad and what i conder loose fitting (good for hiding winter fat). Proteam have a much more firm fit and firm pad. Like they are painted on. I dont want to pull out the proteam just yet as my legs look like overstuffed sausages if more than 2 % fat. Both good bibs - just very different.

Anyone have the pro team lightweight bibs and do they compare to normal pro team? Can see the bundle and I'll also have a 20% discount....

• #28448
Anyone know if the Rapha forum is borked, or is it just not letting me in?

Blocked until you finish all your DIY

Does the classic jersey II still have the inside label on the left and the other one in one of the rear pockets? If so, could anyone please share a photo?
Same fit as old PTJ. Not nodder cut. Aero is super tight.
