any guesses what happens to us european rapha enthusiasts in the event of brexit?
higher prices? lower prices? longer shipping times?
-
• #26103
Nobody knows the answer to this. If all you have to worry about is the price of Rapha then good news!
-
• #26104
You'll have to negotiate on every article you buy. Some weeks the prices will be better than others and other weeks the various postal services may refuse to handle parcels, depending on where negotiations are.
Don't even think about returning something for a repair.

Tempted. How much are you looking for it?

As a customer based in Norway. I'd Guess you'll be fine.
All goods are listed With total price. So import tax is paid at point of sale. This makes the Whole experiance far far easier, and amazingly quick. I can buy stuff from Rapha and have it delivered within a couple days. Its takes twice as long if I buy stuff from Oslo based webstores!
Returns are super easy too. My first thought when I returned a Winter jersey that was a little large. Was shit that was easy. Balls, I'm going to end up spending so much Money on Rapha.

Are we likely to see the bundled PT Flyweight glasses & lenses back?
Edit: Oops, yes the bundle works

Any idea when the Apidura stuff will be back in? My girlfriend wanted to buy me both as a present (awww) but the handlebar bag is sold out already. :(

Flyweight & Classic 2 glasses:
I'm finding that the length of the arms on the glasses fits oddly over the rear of my Kask Mojito's plastic retention piece. It causes the glasses to expand outwards and fit is much looser than without a helmet on.
With my Oakley Jawbreakers the arms are thin enough to sit underneath the plastic piece
Love how they look though, especially the Classic 2 as a pair of casual glasses.

With the current piss week kroner. Everything outside of Norway is insanely expensive.
Good job everything Within Norway is so .....oh wait....insanely expensive.
In all seriousness though the Rapha service to Norway is pretty unbelievable. I'm more inclined to take a punt on a Rapha item than a local store item. If it doesnt fit I just repack it at work, and wait for the DHL guy to pass by and pick it up.

Yeah the rapha return shipping system is unbelievably good. All the courier companies deliver stuff on really broad time frame (like 09-17 or 17-21) but the return shipping can be reserved within the same day and within one hour time frame

• #26117
How often do they offer discounts like the current 20%?
-
• #26118
Not for a while now. You can still get them direct from Apidura though.

I used my flyweight glasses last night for the first time, the lenses really are very good.

Pro team shadow arm, knee and leg warmers are out:
-
• #26121
I've wanted shadow arm warmers a few times this year. If it's the same fabric, I'm not sure how well they'll roll up and down. Or how well the knee warmers will articulate.
-
• #26122
£70 for a pair of arm warmers is quite something
-
• #26123
Pricey but nice?
-
• #26124
My Neoshell armwarmers are bloody brilliant, and were 1/4 of the price.
These better be astonishing.

Why is the Shadow range so expensive?:/
I mean I love Rapha kit, but even I find the shadow stuff eye-watering compared to the other rain kit out there (Castelli Gabba/Nanoflex, Sportful No-rain etc).
I really want to keep it tho cos i love it.
