200€ for a vest?
70€ for a buff? -
• #24412
200€ = £150. Rapha Gilet £125.
70€ = £50. Rapha Winter Collar £30.
It's not a million miles away.As everybody knows, more expensive is better.

Rapha pro team rain gilet is £140...
Also, it comes in bright orange which should satisfy your incessant complaints about Raphas lack of bikeradar hi viz colour options. -

Went out today in my old winter tights and was so cold! I wondering whether there was a big difference between the PT winter tights and the Deep winter tights given they are only £10 difference on the Rapha website. I am aware the DW tights are worn over bibs just interested in what will be best for temperatures like today (1 degree)

i've worn my dw-tights in -15.c with summer bibs.

I finally cracked and ordered the long sleeve jersey in mint.
With a windjacket in my pocket it'll be ideal for the mountain here. Breathable on the way up. Cosy under a windjacket on the way down.

Retired my 5 year old gore gloves and bought the deep winter.
Aero onsie is cheaper than buying bibs atm .. should I?

Why do I need merino and not the classic armwarmers?

Both have wind/waterproof panels on the front - the DW's are a slightly heavier fabric than the PT's, the PT's benefit from higher stretch, easier range of movement, and optimal breathability if you're generating a lot of heat. I'm based in London, and the DW's come out on the coldest days, the PT's are great the rest of time it's cold and windchill is a factor. Not surprised you were cold today in regular tights, bit nippy out!
