  • No. Return them and get a discount code at the same time.

  • Received today my winter base layer... really nice one, looking forward to test it this week. not sure wether baselayer and long sleeve is enough for 8°-10°, but with a Wind jacket or LS + Gillet it seems to be a nice thing.

  • Not even close to cold enough for that yet, you'll boil alive!

  • you think the usual LS + winterbaselayer would be enough for the range of temerature?

  • I find the winter baselayer very warm, so wouldn't be wearing it until temperatures were down to 2 or 3°C. You might feel the cold more than me though, I'm still wearing summer baselayers!

  • agree, i feel the cold definetly more.
Last weekend, 9° i had the pro baselaye ss, and odlo winter baselayer ls + Longsleeve Jersey and after 2h i put on the wind jacket.

  • The Brevet and the PTJ are on sale on the site, so it seems as though they're trying to shift these. New colours incoming maybe?

edit - just seen @ronniep post the same. Tempted by the jacket...

  • ^ strange they would put on sale items that were newly released. Everything that's been reduced are all new color ways.

  • i really want a hi-viz gilet

why dont the do a hi-viz yellow or pink anymore? ffs!!

Is the coral suitably lairy? I like the reflective details on the brevet gilet

  • You could always buy a hi viz gilet from someone else for a reasonable amount of money, instead of paying £90 for something that is identical in function to a bin bag with holes cut out for your head and arms

  • The coral on the brevet is pretty bright yes. The reflective strips look like they'd do something too

  • It's a hi viz and reflectivity promo to mark the clocks going back and the beginning of the dark-season.

  • Someone buy my chartreuse race cape so that I can buy the data print mint choc chip one. Please.

  • ...change the region/currency...

  • well its £70 so thats a £20 saving straight off the bat.

Anyway, Im not against buying something that isnt rapha its just the best ive seen, not the most pricey either.

the Endura Gridlock sounds like it wont fit me (fits big) and like the Altura Peloton doesnt have quite as much reflective paneling as the rapha. Crafts offerings look like they fit like a sack of shit. Dhb, the back is 2/3rds black and no reflective details. The Altura Night Vision Gilet the back is also 2/3rds black.

Let me know if you have any suggestions?

  • Look on Wiggle. Sportful and Castelli both have solid options which are well-reviewed. Sportful especially.

  • the castelli ones dont fit the bill, the Sportful Reflex might do, but lacks any mesh at all

  • Proviz switch gilet?

    (Looks bulky though)
