  • Forgive my West Country ignorance but, where the fuck have all the FKW in the RCC in London been riding? Around the city?

  • Racing?

  • Some caps on the Rapha eBay outlet

  • Promutting.

  • The construction has been redesigned for AW15 to ensure there's no buildup of seam bulk at the peak, improve stretch, and fit a wider size range - I'll try to post a pic of the detail next week.

  • The liner is a nice idea. I have some neoprene gloves and they make my hands feel horrible and itchy / sweaty

  • Has anyone got the neoprene gloves? Was thinking of getting some for general winter use as they must be pretty warm and windproof with merino and neoprene, no?

  • My indecisiveness with the hats is that the PT one appears to be more breathable, although I prefer the more traditional look of the wool ones. Worried they might be too hot though.

  • In my experience neoprene gloves are useless. Here in Scotland it gets chilly in the winter. I have used neoprene gloves in chilly 5° and below and they are hopeless, no insulation means my digits never heated up, frigidly cold the entire time.

If I were to use them above 10° they sweat really badly, constant wrinkly digits nightmare to get off and on. A waste of time ime.

  • They are for the wet really.

@jim1985 get some thin liners, some wool gloves and some windstopper/outer-shell gloves. None of these need cost more than £25.

These in various combos covers most riding for most people (despite what the chillidigit glovepuppets over in this thread would have you believe.)

  • otoh I find neoprene gloves are the only kind tht can get me through the (very wet) west of scottish winter. they're cheap too. stink mind, but it's a small price to pay for non-frozen hands during longer wet rides

  • What size knee warmers should I go for? Take a small in classic bibs, medium pro team.

  • Neoprene only works in the wet and only providing they're dry when you put them on and have HOT hands when you put them on.

No joke, before leaving the house for work I used to heat up my hands over the hob so they'd be roasting when I put the gloves on. Then by the time I'd even started the ride I'd have a warm, insulating layer of sweat already working for me. But the smell, my god, the smell...

  • What a horrible story

  • Wouldn't it be easier just to urinate in them?

  • But the smell, my god, the smell...

    The smell of burning flesh?

  • Taking hot sweaty neoprene gloves off to have coffee etc.

Putting freezing cold, sweaty, wet, miserable neoprene gloves back on 5 mins later.

    Utter shit.

    Sealskinz ftw.

  • Sounds like real suffering

  • sounds like a terrible choise of gloves

  • One hundred times this.

Sticking with Rapha merino this winter

  • New Lombardia trikot... http://www.rapha.cc/de/de/shop/lombardia-jersey/product/LOM01

i really liked the colours of the red orange lombaria jersey and still angry about myselfe, that i didnot buy one...

  • let it go

  • Buy Buy Buy! Yolo

  • Any codes kicking around?
