  • I got a medium Gabba and medium arm warmers and the arm warmers seem skinnier than the Gabba. Unfortunately anything bigger than medium would be too long for my arms.

  • Yes, the small armwarmers are borderline too long on me so I don't really want to go up to medium. Maybe they'll give a bit after a few wears.

  • Well, in strong Rapha fashion prices dropped in the sale once again :)

Any idea when the Shadow Jersey might come out? They dropped the softshell baselayer prices quite a bit almost might want to pick one up. But if the shadow jersey is coming out soon I may hold out

  • Blue trade team Jersey now selling for 35. Down from 90. Predictably popular ...

  • Christ, at that price its worth buying on principle.

  • ^^ buy the lot, set up trade team?

  • Went to shop yesterday (London) , sale items not great compared to website.
Guy there was brilliant in terms of customer service (unlike the miserable woman in the specs).
Saw a guy buy 4 pairs of shoes (people have too much money in London)!!

Loved the jeans-for a big fucker like me they actually fit amazingly.

Tried a cap on- bloody hell are they designed for 8 year old!!

  • Couldn't help myself, ordered a Rapha Backpack. If I put my Thinkpad in the laptop sleeve rather than a Macbook, will the bag spit it out and strangle me on my next ride?

  • I have a Dell in mine right now, seems happy enough. It's not a huge bag, which is part of its charm I guess, but you'll be surprised how little it takes to fill it up.

I'm in Stockholm right now using it as my overnight bag which it did well- but I only needed laptop, book, shirt/socks/pants and my (ziplock, clear plastic) wash bag.

  • I'm trying out an Osprey Pixel 22 as a smaller, laptop-friendly backpack alternative to the PAC Ultimate messenger. They're on sale at Evans for £54. Seems solid so far. Wide shoulder straps, chest and waist buckles, good pocket layout. May try the Arcteryx Spear and sell whichever I like least.

  • Caved in and bought the aerosuit. Out of stock in my size now so it looks like I got the last small.

  • Thinking of grabbing the white super lightweight jersey. Any one here have one?
How lightweight is lightweight? Would I need to go cycling abroad to feel the benefit of it?

  • Sounds exactly the size I need for the commute.

I have one. It's pretty meshy but would be ok for a hot day here in the UK. I wore mine on holiday in the South of France.

  • I've used it in the UK a few times, the wicking effect is very noticeable compared to other jerseys, has a really strong cooling effect. However I can't wear it with my classic bibs as the combination of my big arse and quite a long back means I sometimes get a little gap between bibs and jersey. Not nice.

  • Grimmers

  • Is that because they are short in comparison to other cycling jerseys?

  • loving the fifty quid club jersey; nice not so pricey

  • Is that because they are short in comparison to other cycling jerseys?

No different to any of my other Rapha jerseys.

  • @chiroshi I'm thinking a this point my money might be better spent on a Brevet or Club jersey - will certainly get more wear out of it. Not so keen on the colours left. Or the price, really - I was keen on the idea of grabbing a jersey for 50 notes.

  • How well do rapha jersey sizes fit compared to other brands? I wear a large jersey (non rapha) usually and medium rapha bibs.

  • When are they going to be putting out new stuff....not that I need anything..

  • I bought a bumble bee gilet, for £40 if nothing else it's hi viz.

  • And you should get a buzz out of wearing it honey.

  • Ouch! Those puns must sting. Surely the hive mind can do better...
