when I went in and tried some PT shorts on a couple of weeks ago, I was told I couldn't use the survey code in store.
Maybe my suit and lack of a beard prevented me from using it.

As well as being expired and not expired, and single use and multi use, the code only works between the top of the hour and the bottom of the hour (and also between the bottom of the hour and the top of the hour).

I used survey code in store too..

Just been to evans and it works in there as well but only on rapha.

My much used and loved City Rain Jacket is getting a bit tatty after it's third year of commutering service. Think they've stopped making them now. Anyone recommend a good (not necessarily Raaaapha) replacement?

vulpine harrington ain't too bad, and currently in the sale
swrve do some nice similar sorta jackets too

Ooh yeah I was looking at the Vulpine Harrington a while back. Perfect excuse.
Can anyone advise on real-world sizings? According to that my 39" chest makes me a medium. Find that hard to believe when i'm usually an XL in most cycling brands. Esp. Rapha.

The Harrington's nice but not really a rain jacket... @howradmichello has one so might be able to help sizewise. I found a big jump between sizes, so even though I measure up for an L I went with an M (women's) after much trying on, which is admittedly a bit tight across the shoulders.
Cycle surgery might have them in stock for trying on. -

Arf. Thanks for that. Didn't know CC stocked them. Will def try. CHeers!

I have a medium Harrington from Vulpine, am similar size to you.
It's very good in the rain in my experience. The waterproofing needs refreshing in a tumble drier from time to time though.

Thanks dude. I think I'll splurge. No euph.

The Pro Team Shoftshell became my favourite jacket the moment I put it on.
-
• #21441
Ordered the Vulpine in medium. We shall see.
I have a Rapha softshell too. It's amazing for cold dry winter days but not even showerproof.

I bought a hardshell jacket from the Archive store, i obviously haven't used it, but i'm very glad i chucked it in my bag this morning "just in case"
-
• #21443

Is anyone actually doing Rapha Rising this year or is it just me?

-
• #21446
I think the hardshell i bought was £130. i bought the only small they had out of 3 choices of colour. Most of it was XS or L upwards

Was told today the promo code from the survey isn't accepted in the shop as it expired on the 19th.
So ordered a pair online using the 20% off code while sitting the the rapha cafe.

would agree, see the (Vulpine) Harrington as an Autumn/Winter jacket - which is usefully pretty rain-proof (at least for Lundun-town weather!);
the Cycle Surgery on Chalk Farm Road had Vulpine stock when last visited,
along with a stock of Cateye lights, which are also good for AW!
{might be worth diarising the next Black Friday btw., as CS participated most kindly in this making their offerings much lighter on the wallet}

"diarising"?
Get yourself over to the crap buzzwords thread >>>>>>>>>

oh, maybe a women's version issue, but I find the sleeves on the Harrington quite short, last time I got caught in the rain in it my watch got drenched...
yes, its seasonal stuff (you won't see any winter stuff) and you can use the survey code in the store last time I checked.
