  • You are a whopper. Congratulations.

  • Not sure if the comments on taking a whizz are about the Aerosuit, but (alongside the pic) it says the following in the copy;
'The suit also has a front flap for nature stops.'

@Laner, sounds like you need to go up a size before you cut yourself in half! There's a world of difference between a close-fit and uncomfortable. The advantage of an all-in-one (San Remo, TT, Aerosuit) is comfort and pocket stability. Having the shorts supported, and pocket load distributed by jersey shoulders/chest, is more preferable than bibstraps and jersey dragging/rolling.

Anyway, everyone in the pro peloton is wearing them, so it's a matter of time before it's a standard option.

  • Assos size guide puts me in a large Cronosuit, but I fit in a small fine. It's not meant to be comfy in anything other than a tuck.

  • Tuck, and taking selfies in mirrors.

  • ^^ that guy. He's actually paying for his cappuccino here but still perfectly comfortable.

  • The Rarpha skinsuit is showing as low availability for XXL. That's a whole lotta commuters in onesies.

    o.O

  • I was taken by the short sleeved skin suits With the jersey part not sewn to the bibs at the front. The Castelli SanRemo being the obvious one. But there are others. Seemed like a nice race option. I lose more time trying to zip up my flappy open jersey than a few CDA improvements could give. Not so sure about the Rapha one.

I just recieved my Endurance Junkie SS Tri-suit. I Guess the fit is Perfect. But it is very far from cafe stop wear. Even for a someone totally lacking in self respect like me.

    No thanks.

  • But there are others>
    Link?

What's the pad in the aerosuit?

If you fancey the verge one, and need a few more folk to order to make it viable. Count me in.

I asume its the lightweight pad in the rapha one. Which is actually really Nice. But not as solid a cushion as the pro team pad. I have a bare carbon saddle and can feel the surface of it more through the lightweight. Still worked better than most over day long rides, for me, though.

  • Neither seem as good as rapha or castelli options.
Shame castelli option is so obnoxious looking.

  • The tri Version of the LG one is meant to be fecking awesome. Actually has the front half of the bib straps under the front part. With the front unsewn almost to the hips. So you can really open it up. Not sure the road Version is the same Construction.

The verge one gets great reviews. Its also been fully tested in a Wind tunnel. But it basically takes all its features from the San Remo. Its has a lot of panels, which may give better fit, With a little aero cost.

The Castelli is the OG. But the fit of Castelli stuff is horrible, at least on me. Plus their pads seem to compress to nothing after half a season.

All my races, even tris, involve decent sized Climbs. So the Rapha is out. Purely because I couldnt open the top enough.

  • Do you or does anyone have the last seasons Winter Jersey to compare this against?

  • Nope sorry, have been using it the last few days and am growing to like it. Warm enough in the morning, and enough ventilation to keep cool on the way home.

  • The Sky one is the same as the non-Sky version, but with the addition of a reflective strip down the back - otherwise they are the same fabric, fit etc.

  • Thanks:)

Do you know if it still has the zip panels on the front? Cant quite make out from the pics... Weighing up whether it's worth going for the new one or a few used Winter Jersey's on the bay...

So far the only difference I can tell is the new Sky one doesnt have the zip pocket, only two cargo ones!

Edit: @villa-ru what I wanted to hear, thanks!

  • It does have the zip pocket, and it has two zip vents at the front.

  • Last night my daughter was helping me hang up the washing. She picked up my track top, saw the band on the sleeve, and said "Oh. It's Rapha! Is this cycling stuff? I thought Rapha only made cycling clothes?". She's six. I've ruined the poor girl. The only brands she should be into are Disney and Haribo.

  • Y U has Oslo ride day before national day?

Nobody outside of Oslo is going to be able to travel to it. As they will almost certainly have commitments on the 17th. So typical of this capital focused country too. /rant.

  • one use 15% off, this weekend only - CM2-L9KX-BHP1-M3PH

  • I've got a women's rain bomber for sale in the classifieds at the moment.

I bought it for my GF but she needed s different size. It's not available anymore so thought I'd check nobody wanted it here before sending it back.

    Edit: No longer available.

  • Rapha / Cinelli bar tape, nice and not pricey :)

£20 a roll, only in Rapha stores.

  • Does anyone know if there is a differences between the two backpacks on the website? Is it just the colour way?

  • Dibs if it's XS or S.

  • Sorry Ed, I'm afraid it's gone. (It was a medium anyway. The Waffa sizing for women seems to be the opposite of men.)
