  • I'm ashamed to admit that she is Manx.

  • I'm ashamed to admit that she is a Minx.

Jesus H Christ. You need serious help!

    Phew!

  • Used to live in Lakeside, 5 doors up from my Gran.

  • *"In March 2009 it was reported by http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Mirror that all three original cast members of *Birds of a Feather have been in talks about a possible return to the small screen"

  • I blame Rapha for this^

  • Rapha also faked the shroud of turin.

  • Ha.

Just found the message inside my 'fixed' shorts for the first time:

    Fixed.

The traffic was crazy today. Some days I feel like a traveler trying to cross the Sahara (WTF?). Only instead of an endless sea of sand, it's an ocean of autos. Metal and pavement as far as the eye can see. It's funny how I never view myself as part of the confusion, which, of course, I am. Instead, I split lanes and ride through it. I pass by the cars and dive by buses with a necessary simplicity. Instead of the thirsty, tired wanderer, I try to be the breeze.

How gay is that? TM OOL

You mean you spend all that money and they lack the common courtesy to spell 'traveller' correctly?
That's put me right off the brand.
Is 'gay' still an insult in your world?
    FFS...

  • It's the "lawyer, banker, professional" bit that riles me. 'Butcher, baker, candlestickmaker' would be much more charming :)

Yet far from as accurate as: "wanker, tosser and cunt."
I love Rapha, me, I do...

Oh for fucks sake I was quoting OOL. From the 'how gay is that' thread.

    Gay

  • You're right Josh.

Commutare is cliveo's nickname amongst the* cognoscenti*.

'Commutare' is the verb. Clive is actually The Commutator.

This has to be one of the worst/wurst things I've ever read. What on Earth is 'dive by buses with a necessary simplicity' supposed to mean? 'Autos' seems designed to address the American target market--as, indeed, probably does 'traveler' (sic), Platini, not that you hadn't already worked that out. Someone here is trying to be poetic and producing the textual equivalent of a wipeout on a slick of engine oil, sliding twenty yards with a long black streak on them ...

  • As an alternative to rapha, perhaps look into twonfro. (www.twonfro.com).

Cheaper, quite nice looking, and made from a quirky mixture of man made materials (for winter) and natural fibres (for summer).

The website is still under construction, but why not visit their store. It's at 215 westbourne park road, w11. Just off portobello road. They also do a load of quirky accessories from around the world, and they have a few bikes in there too. Aimed mainly at the casual cyclist/commuter rather than the sporty lycra clad type.

Please god tell me that you are bringing that man and his alleged label up as a joke.

  • How can I tell someone what life
feels like? How can I explain to them
    what purity means?

Dear God. What an absolute pile of cunt.

  • i was looking at the RAPHA website the other day, they make some very nice cycling garments that are very stylish.
perhaps not an impulse buy but very desirable if you have some cash burning a hole in your pocket.

  • I was having a look at Assos, and my reaction was similar- very nice but on the expensive side.

  • quality costs. buy cheap buy twice.

  • They stock Assos in Evans now which is ever so convenient.
