Oh god don't start this again.
p.s. both rapha and nike are pretty high on the sports goth tech ninja vibes. Pity I can barely afford one, let alone both.

£350 for a running jacket is pure lolz. If you're cold, run faster.

It'll end mid-belly, if that's a look you want to rock when running then go for it.

This. Unless you're out for hours and hours in the middle of Snowdonia you're just wasting money.

I need money. Can you give me some?
-
• #17910
ah come on the rapha clearly looks better?

Short sleeve with nanoflex armwarmers. More flexible than the long sleeve.

Worth waiting for the Pro Team Winter tights (£200)
or just going for the winter tights(£170?)I understand pro ones have padding where as the standard tights require you to wear your shorts underneath

Does anyone have Assos arm warmers? What size is the rapha Medium equivalent?
-
• #17917
The race cape will be shite for running.
It'll grip your shoulders (for teh aeros), which will make it ride up and down as your arms swing. Ride up and down your midriff that is. As its designed to jut fit when youre bent in 2.
.....Unless of course you run bent 90 degrees forward, and with stationary arms.
If thats the case go for it.....

I have Assos arm warmers. They awesome, very warm, although very tight. I haven't tried Rapha to compare, so that's useful.
-
• #17920
I have Assos arm warmers and Rapha arm warmers. The Assos are size II and are a very snug fit. The Rapha are size large and are if anything ever so slightly loose. So I'd say Assos size II will be roughly equivalent to Rapha medium.

The race cape is designed to be worn in an on-the-bike position so won't be good for standing up/running. It'll be far to high at the front and tight across the shoulders and chest.

FINE I'll buy that Nike jacket then
