  • Maybe you should lose some weight?

  • I quite enjoyed filling in the survey, as usual.

How long have you been a customer or a fan of Rapha?
    5-7 years.

How has your opinion of Rapha changed over that time?
These days there are quite a few products of your products which I'm not completely convinced aren't spoofs... But as long as you keep producing practical but stylish cycling gear I'll probably keep buying it.

  • Maybe you should lose some weight?

Haaa. To be fair the 3 members of staff I spoke to were very friendly and attentive. Indeed as I was paying for the Large, the tall skinny bloke with the goatee (I think), suggested I was more a medium.

  • My free Mt. Diablo tee sold for £25+postage, cant complain at that... people on ebay are truly nuts

  • First impression of the merino crew neck T-shirt is that it that the fit is nowhere near as comfy and snug as the base layer t's.
I'm sure I've got the right size as the shoulders are spot on. But the waist is quite loose, making the whole thing flap about a bit, and I end up doing that awkward thing where the t-shirt lifts up around the waist when I lift my ams.

  • ^ Vulpine merino t-shirt fitted nicely when I tried it on in Cycle Surgery. Seemed excellent quality.

  • .

  • Eh? They are definitely an English company.

  • Where did you hear that they were American?

Surely if its a tshirt it shouldnt be quite as tight as the base layer though? Or is it really loose?

  • I'm now too skinny for my XL PT Jersey. I've only used it half a dozen times or less from new. Its cream and in practically perfect condition.

Looking to do a swap if someone has a similar condition L going. Not bothered about colour really.

Hope I'm not too skinny for the PT Jacket when Autumm kicks in.......bloody dieting.

    Its not fat lose.

I've quit contact rugby, and weight training. Its mainly muscle lose.

hmm i'll retract that statement but 2 people said yesterday to me they were !

i was surprised myself when i heard it

  • Never believe other people. They're always wrong.

  • i'm just too trusting
    need moar cynicism

  • Went in hard on Friday. Pro team bibs, jersey and jacket...

Still too povvo to get express delivery though, so now we play the waiting game.

  • Are people buying the Pro Team jacket and saving it for use in the winter? It's Polartec. Surely you'll be roasting in it for the next 4 months. Not really something you can stow in a jersey pocket either, I imagine. Also, not waterproof. So for cold and dry riding. Not great for British weather eh?

  • I was out in Ashdown this morning and passed someone who was wearing 3/4 bibs and a fully zipped up pro team jacket. It was 68 degrees!
I was warm in bibs and my lightest weight jersey.

  • Choppers in Regents Park in Gabbas this morning.

  • Are people buying the Pro Team jacket and saving it for use in the winter?

Yep, put it in the Rapha cellar, and make sure the butler turns it regularly to keep it in top condition. Should be nicely matured for winter.

  • Brevet jersey and Nanoflex arm-warmers for me today, took the Pink Of Shame gillet off at the halfway point.

I think I must just be colder than other people.

  • Bit surprising, was quite warm today.

Yup! That's exactly what I'm doing. £220 down to £130 so £100 with the discount. Perfect for quick training rides between 10 and 0 this winter.

Stick a rain cape in the pocket and you're ready for anything, or so goes my thinking.
