Don't get me wrong, this would be different if the story was "I didn't quite fit into the jersey so the guy told me to lose weight and now I feel self conscious". But it's not.

I'm reading this on my phone, so could someone do me a favour and embed a popcorn related .gif?

It's you isn't it. You're the rude shop assistant!

I was judging you

The lapelled jacket sure does look tasty...may have to take a closer look...
Anyone have a white LS shirt in S they want to sell?

Walking past the shop yesterday I thought I'd take a rare look inside.
I don't want to tar all their employees with the same brush but every time I've been in there they are almost laughably rude. While I was waiting for a spare changing room there was a chap in front of me trying on a jersey and getting some 'advice' from the helpful shop assistant. He was between sizes. The smaller one was perfect across his shoulders but a bit tight round the midriff. The larger one fitted his midriff but was too loose across the shoulder. The helpful advice from the shop assistant? 'you could lose some weight'
Comically rude.
I should clarify. I like their gear and wear it, but I buy online to avoid that place
It's May, and the customer is buying 'performance roadwear' but carrying weight around his middle..... It sounds like refreshing honesty from the rep.

I was very close to splashing £400 on the shirt and jacket last night. Very envious.

Summer Riding - Pro Team Jersey or Super lightweight? Anyone got both?

Get the XS white shirt from clearance for £51 and loose some weight.

What advice would you prefer? Buy both and stitch the two halves together?
Maybe the judicious application of spanx would shift the fat up to his shoulders? Problem solved.

That's how I see it. I wasn't there so perhaps it could have been phrased better but the advice is correct.

Bargain if you combine it with the 15% discount somewhere in this thread.

To wash gloves, I wear them and then use a nice natural, biodegradable soap (the type found in camping shops) or Simple and just wash them as if I'm washing my hands.
Give them a rinse and that's it.
wait, you mean... people actually wash their gloves?
-
• #16548
Dude you cant be going round wearing the same gloves you wipe your sweat/snot with the whole time surely?
Not sure if srs though...

No, we don't.
No, you're merely being a twat. Whether you like their gear or not is beside the point. You think so much of yourself that you are looking for faults in the company/customer service to try and feel superior. Well done, you proved you're a dick.
