I was chatting to somebody about something that might be happening tomorrow, and neglected to comment at the time how it's a shame that it's difficult to acquire the touring shorts in a size 34 these days.
I think I'm going to have to ask nicely in condor or trawl ebay :/ -

i gather the plan is to flog stuff to IW customers tomorrow and then a grand clearout at bargain prices on Friday
tom, shall i look out for shorts for you?

It's almost as if you were reading between the lines, dj.

• #16035

-

Well then.

I've a pair of touring shorts that I don't want, Tom. Will check the size but I think they may be a 34. I think I've worn them twice.
-
• #16038
Surely even at your
winteroff-season fattest you were never a 34?! -
• #16039
Funny Rapha sizing, the 32s were too small.
I blame villa-ru.
-
• #16040
I can wear the 32 when ~76kg, much above that and it's 34 time
-
• #16041
If you pass some medium bibs I'd love you long time James.
I'd hint at mitts too. But I get the impression there are never any 'stranglers' sizes.
I'm somewhat in love with the soon to be released classic mitts. Look very dapper in white.

Anyone have any idea of what the GBP vs. USD is like when it comes to Rapha? I'm off to New York this weekend and have my eye on the hooded wind jacket...

Surely you just need to check prices on Rapha.cc and then have xe.com open in another tab for conversions?
Or am I missing something?
ps, don't forget to add NY State Sales Tax (8.875%) to Rapha's US prices. Purchases under $110 USD are exempt. -

Have I missed a magical sample sale event?
I'd love to get involved if that's at all a possibility.

Exchange rate aside (which I know at the moment is weighted in my favour) all I'm asking is if anyone knew if it would be drastically cheaper for me to wait for 5 days to purchase something in NY rather than here...

do these happen in london or manchester?

No need to apologize.
Thanks for entertaining me anyway. -

The idea was to change the settings to location = US, currency = USD.
It'll give the US price.
If you then us XE.com. You can see if thats better than the UK price.
