  • That's where you're going wrong. You should be hand-washing them in a babbling brook on the upper slopes of the galibier or something.

  • Moody as fuck: http://www.aliexpress.com/item/2014-rapha-thermal-bicycle-sports-clothing-summer-Bike-Riding-Shirts-outdoor-short-sleeve-cycling-jersey-ciclismo/1646038279.html

    Material: Polyester, Lycra >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
are these fakes? Would like to order some.

  • Gday,

    Did a search, no dice.

Anyone have any experience with the pro team race cape?

Evans have the 'sky' version in S/M half price at present. Are the sky ones exactly the same?

Anyone had any success in removing/covering the sponsors lettering?

    Ta

  • I have one, they're a race fit so one size up is recommended if you want to wear layer.

Strictly a race cape, would recommend the classic wind or rain jacket over it.

  • The reduced price ones are last seasons, the new one is cut differently and has arm zips.

  • I've got the Sky one- due to affordability reasons.

I find that base layer+jersey+Cape is pretty warm, I can't see wanting to wear more.

Bear in mind that I was wearing a hard shell jacket to commute in up until a couple of weeks ago.

The Sky branding is reflective- pretty effective, nightmare to cover and apart from the brand it's quite useful from a visibility perspective.

Ah yeah, mine's the last year one with the insane option of cutting the cape into a short sleeve one.

  • A racecape trimmed just above the elbow is a useful thing.

  • Race cape is the best jacket ever.
Race Cape > Pro Team Jacket > Wind Jacket.

    No good for fatties though.

  • There are prolly still loads of Sky Wanker ones going cheap on eBay from the sample sale....
I almost bought the Sky national champ race cape at the sample sale to sell on ebay, but I thought to myself 'what kind of twat would really spend money on this'?

Whoever did buy it, sold it on Ebay for £285 the following week.
    LOLZ.

  • Never underestimate the value of a rare or unique piece of Rapha kit.

  • Anyone have a cream rapha cap in small they want to sellz?

  • Sure. £285 plz

  • . nothing

  • anyone haz 3/4 cross bibs in medium they don't want?

  • are these fakes? Would like to order some.

Nope they a real - just sold at the Chinese outlet

  • As everyone is asking - anyone want to swap me something (brevet/jacket/gilet) for a long sleeve pt jersey? Black and white obvs

  • Nope they a real - just sold at the Chinese outlet

I don't know about this year but my 2013 pro team jersey is made in Lithuania... I can't understand why the outlet should be in China...

I think that may have been a joke...?

I'm always quite slow to get jokes :)

This was what I thought when I read the new one has zips. Sadly it doesn't have zip off sleeves - it has zip up cuffs so that you can put it on easily in a race. You still need scissors

  • 30% off base layers until sunday

anyone have a refer a friend code to put on top?

  • ^ Refer a friend is officially no more.

  • Will be stocking up on baselayers this evening.

Have i missed the Rapha Classic Bibs vs Assos T Equipe S7 conversation? LFGSS, please influence my purchase decision

  • I think the Assos have a more compressive fit. Both have great pads of course.

Performance/cost sees Assos win I reckon. But it all Depends on how they fit you.
