Excellent trolling.

Much too much effort to be fake/trolling.

Wow. I mean really wow. That makes Rapha look godly.
All is forgiven. Even the shitty little 'minipump' pockets.

How can they have misjudged the market so badly...
-
• #14507
They have delayed launch every month since Spring - the price probably went up every month! Seriously misjudging the marker.
-
• #14508
All of a sudden rapha looks good value for money in front of that tat.

Torm is actually good value for money and excellent clothing.
These dudes trying to charge wool prices for poly.

Rapha, get on it:

Well, it's subtle enough for me to have missed it when skimming through the photos! If anyone does mention it, at least I'll know they've been checking out my arse...
You're right. It certainly beats those jeans that announce 1's waist and inside leg measurements on their equivalent patches.
-
• #14515
Yep. Particularly as they advertise the fact that my waist size exceeds my inside leg length.

Rapha, get on it:
Since when that's new? even Richard Hammond belt on about it in his shitty programme a while ago.

Having lost my Gore Goretex path jacket, which was amazing at keeping the water out all day. I need a new all day waterproof jacket. Given the gore is £140.
Previously I'd wear the Gore path over my softshell when it's cold and raining. Occasionally, when warmer I'd wear it over a jersey but not often.I'm tempted by the hardshell, as I need an all day waterproof. Can anyone confirm it's 100% waterproof for hours?
-
• #14519
i don't see a reason to downgrade from gore to rapha.
-
• #14520
Yeah, it really is. I've worn it in a two hour downpour and my torso was dead dry.*
*From rain, was sweaty though. Also, your mileage may vary. Do not hold me accountable if you don't like it etcetc.
-
• #14521
I don't see it as a downgrade. As tbh it's pretty annoying having to wear a softshell to keep warm and a jacket to keep dry. I'd much rather one jacket that did both.
Rapha normally offer a 30day return if not satisfied, but can't see it offered on the hardshell, did this stop? Guess I could return it under statutory rights for not being fit for purpose if it's not waterproof. But, more worried about it losing it's waterproof quality in time, than after I just bought it.
-
• #14522
Had mine for almost a year and it's not as waterproof as it was the day I got it, but I wear it very, very regularly. Can always be reproofed anyway. But yeah, basically weatherproof.
I thought the 30 day money back was only on 'classic' products.
-
• #14523
Ah, it might be, my rapha knowledge is limited.
Hmm. I'll think on it. It would be nice.

Bargain. My size too. Hmm. I do really want one jacket to be waterproof and warm though. As wearing 2 jackets is a pain in the arse.
Quel faux pas.
