  • Looking forward to my roundel (and voucher)...

  • Take a look at this site: http://www.fahrstil-magazin.de/Shop/fahrstil-Produkte/Rapha-Club-Jersey-fahrstil-edition.html

No jackets, but they advertise a (company branded) Rapha jersey, for a much lower price.

Equivalent to the Club Jersey, i think, but about £28 cheaper on the face of it (£72 vs £100), taking into account the nicely non-pricey 4.50 euro postage. Nice find.

  • ^ I'm keen to order one if people fancy combining on postage

  • It's the Rik van Looy club jersey from a few years ago. Excess stock maybe.

  • Got one of them a few years back. S'nice.

Yeah, I got the Anquetil one. Bit pricey though....

  • Going to Greece next week 26-30 odd degrees, lightweight jersey or super-lightweight? And what is up with the pockets on the LWJ?

    Go for super lightweight.
Temperatures are too high in Greece in late June.

  • Looking forward to my roundel (and voucher)...

Interesting, so wheres the best hill in London for repeats?

  • Interesting, so wheres the best hill in Kyoto for repeats?

    Ftfy.

  • Interesting, so wheres that link for doctoring your strava data?

now ftfy. (Kyoto, pffft, Rob doesn't even hill)

  • Interesting, so wheres the best hill in London for repeats?

    Inside London, swains lane.
In Epping, Avey Lane & Mott St

  • Google search has confirmed I need to do 84 repeats of Swains Lane to complete the challenge. Interesting there promising more patches when I've not even received my Rapha 500 one yet

  • Could pm one of the many Rapha workers from on 'ere to see if they could sort you out.

Seem to remember Senór bear telling someone he could...

  • 12 reps of Starhill out near orpington

  • I have 2 days during the challenge where I won't be able to ride due to travel. After the travel though It'll be Alp d'Huez and Galibier hill repeats.

You probably ride better then is your grammar. Good luck.

  • I did last years without a single hill repeat. Now thats a challenge.

Easy with Strava's fucked up elevation gains.

I know the answer to this and I don't like it. It's an awful climb!

I reckon I can just about do it without repeating a climb though. Let's see. I did all of the climbs in northern Kyoto save one (and cut two a bit short) on one ride once (because I was insane that day) and it netted me about 3500m elevation gain so...

  • Jadias, which one in the north out of interest? Kyoto to Lake Biwa and back on route 30 is good for repeats but the area to the north of Kyoto is so hilly it should be easy without going over the same ground twice.

yeah I was just gonna say haha

Cool badge, although the ring of text needs to be rotated marginally, the 'R' of Rapha is fouling on the light blue triangle

  • Illustrator kerns like shit on a curved path

  • It just needs rotating clockwise by about 5 degrees and everyone will be happy

  • Looking forward to my roundel (and voucher)...

will they gonna give again 15% discount same as the rapha 500 last time?
