  • What era? Could be Champion Systems, Le Col or Impsport. Could be other suppliers, but I know of those.

  • Couple of years old, I'll look at the label when I get home.

  • full zip = le Col
short zip is probably the belgian ones

  • Short zip.

  • Don't you 'race' for Brixton?

  • I don't race for anyone, I ride with Brixton on Sundays.

  • And thinking about it, what's that got to do with the way a jersey fits?

  • Sounds like one of the £30ish Belgian ones then, should have a coolmax label on the outside of one of the pockets.

I find those one's a bit tight across the tummy.

  • Don't you find all jersies 'a bit tight across the tummy'?

  • sick burn

  • That depends on whether they're tents or not.

  • #stillhaven'tfoundoutwhat"twotents"refersto

  • Transfer trousers?

  • Don't you find all jersies 'a bit tight across the tummy'?

Some of the Rapha ones seem to be fine for those of us with a large fuel tank.

Hold on, are you calling me fat?

  • Does anyone on ere' have the Grand tour shoes? if so are they as good as they ought to be for £300? they look lovely!

  • its Rapha, there is no correlation between the price and the quality.

  • They are, allegedly, based on Giro shoes- so it might be wise to pop into your local Giro stockist and see if they suit your feet.

  • its Rapha, there is no correlation between the price and the quality.

If that is true then the entire premise of this thread is incorrect

  • This thread is not about the quality but that their stuff is nice.

    If a little pricey.

But many issues have been raised here for example stuff that looks nice, feels nice but bobbles too easily. This is normally resolved through good customer service and I would expect no less from a pair of fuck me that's pricey shoes.

  • lol.

    More 'I'vebeenfucked' than 'fuckmeshoes' ?

How is stuff being 'nice' not about the quality? I think you may be focussing on the exception rather than the rule, the rule being that Rapha is well made technical sports gear that looks good (in the most part) but costs a lot.

    i.e. nice but pricey

rapha is fancy accessories with a price tag, nowhere near *technical *sports gear.
they aspire to be one, oh yes.

  • So I had a gift voucher and need new gloves so decided to get the grand tour gloves. Anyone have them? Decent?

  • ^^ WTF do you want from a jersey?

This thread's reaching new hyperbole heights.
