Which is why I resurrected this thread rather than start a new one to discuss the new knee-warmers...

  • It depends what you want though - thought of as being 'hard' by your peers because you forgo knee warmers when it's cold or knees that aren't arthritic by the time you're 40. Tough choice.

I wear knee warmers, If I shaved my legs I'd use embrocation. I wouldn't wear knee warmers named BKW.

  • rumour has it that more people bought the rapha kerchief after the debate on this forum than any part of the proper marketing.

are roxy and object secret employees of rapha, the anti-viral marketing campaign?

  • i wear 3/4 length tights

    laura said something about it.

  • i wear 3/4 length tights

    Like this?

  • Can't fault Rapha's marketing. Got (and are getting) their products noticed in pretty much sub-specialism of road cycling.
A couple of the MASH crew are currently doing a 1000km run through Germany Belgium France and on to Italy in full Rapha kit.

  • just got sent this email about the rapha fixed jacket, check out the 2nd picture, rapha cycling model rocking an arrospok/trispoke WTF

Completely accurate Hipster pics, not one where a bike is actually being ridden :)

  • Yeah that's that german track team bike - seen it in the flesh near Greys Inn Rd. Walks the fine line between genius and stupidity, and falls the right side.

  • its a nice jacket...but fook paying £250 for it. NO WAY.

  • £210, no?

  • I'll think you find young mouse, the website has them retailing at two hundred and fifty of the queens finest pounds

jackets worn in winter get covered in shite anyway
    altura/specialized ftw!

  • shit this is the first thread i have been able to load all day.
    updated firmware on the router.
    reinstalled all 3 browsers
    repaired permissions
applejacked in single user mode (os-X)
    cache cleanup
    removed all the firefox addons.
    checked ISP for problems

i know it's a thread hijack but if i don't post now i feel i never be able to.

oh. rapha are shit. there back on topic.

  • it's nice but £250! LOL. i can get the same thing at urban outfitters for £60.

they really need to start making cheaper stuff, people have less disposable income these days!

  • Thats a lot of dough! I'd prefer a swrve hoody.

And is this one ACTUALLY waterproof ?

  • it's nearly as insane as paying £300 for a plastic spoked front wheel and using it on a commuter bike instead of in a time-trial.

Softshells ain't waterproof (you can't seal the seams!)
    Clothing geek over and out....
