The Guardian proving it has the finger on the pulse, linking the JVA's spoof website, then proceeds to give Rapha a bit of a savaging. Apologies if this is a re
Good article.. and like Trevor Ward, i'm not ashamed to say I own a few Rapha garms myself, in-fact most of the gear I have is Rapha. By that i mean I've bought a couple of jerseys, bib shorts and some base layers and have found i don't need anything else. It's dam pricey for sure but I suppose, like most things, if you're willing to pay it's the best quality.
The funny thing is is that i first bought Rapha clothing because the distinct lack of branding on their clothes. Most cycle clothing, and sports clothing is plastered with garish brand names whilst Rapha remained subtle. Only later did i become so aware of the brand, but to be honest videos such as their Continental series only got me more into cycling. Which can't be a bad thing.Leading me to say that i have a Women's Long Sleeve Jersey that i picked up for someone at a sample sale, hardly worn and wanting to sell.

Quote from the mooncup site or from the coffee cup site upthread?
We worked rigorously to achieve a seamless marriage of form and function. The inside of the cup provides the best fluid dynamics for the perfect pour while also accommodating the drinker’s nose to take in the aroma. The bottoms are thick to retain heat while the rims have great mouth feel. The handle is a fluid extension of the cup providing a resting place for the thumb to balance the cup effortlessly in the hand.

I have a couple of Rapha items that are no longer required if anyone's interested?
Rain Jacket in grey, size medium. It's in great condition and I'm only selling because I've received a new one. (Lucky boy!)
Winter Jersey (the one with the windproof front, vents and a lot of pockets) black, also size M. It's the Rapha Condor Sharp version so it's quite rare with large, reflective Rapha Condor Sharp logos on the rear and the same logos (not reflective) embroidered on the left breast. It's in good condition - there's no defects or anything but it's been worn and washed a good few times.
Looking for £95 for the rain jacket [NOW SOLD] and £80 for the winter jersey posted or can be delivered/collected for free in Leeds. PM me, yeah?

I definitely have to swap my "L" cross jersey for an "M".
Has anyone used the size-down swap thing? Any issues I should be aware of?
I'm (well, me Julie) is the original purchaser of the jersey, it's been back once for Rapha crash-repair but is pretty much fine and dandy.

I had to attend a workshop at work today, and was advised in advance of the following:
Many thanks for taking part in the upcoming Verbal Identity workshop. In preparation for it could you please bring along to the workshop a piece of communication from any sector which you really admire from a language perspective and which you think perfectly reflects the brand/personality of the organisation.
Of course, I had forgotten to do such a thing; however, an iPhone pointed to the nice-but-pricey About us page made for an epic meeting.
