I rather like my Essentials Case (but then I got mine when they were three for £20 at the sample sale last year).
I get a normal butyl tube, Park tyre levers, iPhone, a couple of cards and a £20 note in mine at a pinch.
I got the 3 for £20 deal too - nice little pouches but not waterproof - also the stitching burst when I tried to fit tube, levers, small multitool and CO2 cartridge.
Tend to use them for organising all the other crap that I carry like emergency lights, charger wires etc in my bag.
Nice but ultimately unnecessary.

Is that the new pro refreshment choice?
Or am I getting confused? -

Paul Smith has apparently designed the Rapha/Sky kit according to road.cc

I've got two tyre levers, a multitool, CO2 canister, puncture repair patches and a SRAM powerlink in mine. Won't fit in a tube. No way.
Again, sample sale goodness.

I'd like a bag that could fit a rolled up tub in, along with multitool, levers etc.

Sorry- meant one that would still go in a jersey pocket.
At the moment I use a cut-down freezer bag, which is undeniably effective, but I cannot help but think that there might be something better out there for the job.

tub must be folded under your saddle, for pro points

no, pro has a support vehicle

I rolled my spare up, it's just under twice the size of a normal inner tube:
So it goes in a jersey pocket quite nicely.

Is there's an aero benefit of having an tyre on your back?
-
• #10295
i'm sort of glad i'm not under the impending doom that is tubulars right now. But just two flat's in about 3500 miles is pretty ok.

Whats wrong with having it under your saddle? I've always quite liked that look.

I've never really thought about it, just feels neater having it in a pocket.

Im in Beijing and some of the Paul Smith essential cases made it out the back door of the factory and are for sale on Taobao, which is sort of like a Chinese shopping equivalent of Amazon and ebay combined. I bought a couple one for the mrs and myself and were around £18 quid each. They're nice but certainly not worth paying full price for.
