  • haha potato chop? (in reference to ed's pic)

  • well, trust me boy, after a year of riding and occasional dunwich dynamos or whatever not with 120 miles in a row on a stripped saddle your balls start to cry for mercy.

unless you want to have plumbing of a 90-year-old in a few years time id advise to have atleast a bit of padding, seriously, trust me on this.

i've never ridden 120 miles solid on a stripped saddle, but i'm talking about 20 miles maximum, street riding. in that instance its fine.

    boy

    ;)

  • even doing 20 miles every day you will damage your plumbing.
It only feels amazingly great in the first few months.

  • this will damage not only your plumbing, but your kitchen sink, your shower and even the hose tap;

  • charge spoon

  • Surely more to point would be which is the most comfortable and at a reasonable price. Not everyone on here can afford carbon/titanium/gold plated etc...

No, the point is everyone's arse is different.
Try a few popular suggestions (UTFS) and find the best for YOUR backside.

Most saddles have vanadium (steel) versions of their Ti like SLR XP is the steel version of the ti-railed SLR. They often sell for more though because cocksmokers on ebay think SLR XP must be better than SLR because it has more letters. Idiots.

  • hippy has a point ^^

My arse was probably shaped from a baboon, cause what all this lot claims the comfiest amongst saddles Brooks, Fizik, Charge Spoon etc. all give me incredible soars. The only proper saddle that fits me (personally) is the Selle Italia Flite.

All we can tell you which saddles are worth buying but it's up to you to try having a go on different saddles and make personal judgement from what fits you best.

  • I've probably written the same point in 50 other "which saddle" threads.. which the OPs of these threads would find had they utfs.

    Not long for this earth..

  • What saddle is comfy for you depends on the shape and size of your cock and balls. Everyone agrees.

    Edit: Or lady bits.

  • And as above, even the comfiest saddle turns into a medieval device of torture after 50 or so miles, if you're wearing the wrong shorts.

I love my Charge Spoon but can't wait for new bike w/ Flite to arrive. Hurry up Ribble ya lazy busy cunts.

  • its personal preference, everyone's ass/requirements are different.
    my turbo is fairly comfy

  • Thanks for confirming that.. I was having serious doubts about what I typed.

  • i think we need to up the ante

    UTCSCS

use the cunting search cock sucker

  • I didn't read your post until now hippy, apology for being a copy cat

  • It's ok I don't read most shit on here. I just use a scanning algorithm to pick out keywords and generate suitable albeit repetitive replies.

  • got a charge spoon on my pompino and an sdg bel air on the mtb, both pretty comfy.

  • Koobi Xenon suits my arse. Also, good shorts. Just replaced an elderly pair of cheapo shorts with Santini bibs with the Twistgel insert and 50+ miles is suddenly comfy even on the crap Velo saddle that came on my Fuji.

  • I've been riding a Grunge saddle 20miles a day for the past eight weeks, and my arse has not been chaffed once. Also, according to my GP, my sperm count is thriving, through-the-roof, at Silvio Berlusconi type levels.

  • You are and I claim my £5.

  • Brooks B66 Champion Flyer. The B17 with springs on the back - I have a decade-old one on my Raleigh Superbe and it's the most comfortable saddle in the world. The styling may not suit your average brakless-fixybeik-skidder though.

I find the Flite saddle hard as hell and very poorly shaped for my arse. But it does look nice. Brooks all the way for all my future bikes though.

  • Is this going to turn into a "last post wins" thread...

  • yep

  • My saddle is really comfy.

    HTH.

  • do I win?

  • No, my saddle is comfier.

Note: do not google image search 'bareback' whilst at work. It clearly means something very different in this day and age. All I wanted was a comedy picture of someone on a horse, sans saddle.

    And, yeah, I win.
