• Silver Defender with a pink bike on the back?

Yep, the pink bike kinda gave it away :)

  • Well Done Teenslain et al, what a gorgeous day...

  • thanks for the shout clive, hope you saw me skid past your car at the lights on denmark hill

  • .

  • too bad i missed it. sounds like everyone had a good day. and good to hear there were no spills.

    so who were the winners??

  • Awesome, stunning work once again mr slain, rob and Jayson!

Derney was a real treat, totally different to riding anything else just gutted I'm not strong enough to have the jump on everyone else!

  • Many, many thanks Joe, Rob and Jayson. Awesome afternoon out, superb weather, bright times!

Really enjoyed that stint on the track, hopefully I'll find the time to do some Saturday morning sessions next year.

  • Another excellent day! Massive thanks to joe, rob and Jason. What a team, great organisation, and well done for sorting the weather again!

  • Thanks everyone for sorting that shit out. it was a cracking day and nice to meet a bunch of you guys.

Looking forwards to the next one.... looking to beat 2nd from last!!!

    totaly 531

ps the hiccups kept going whn i got home but now seem to have subsided

  • hey Nice to meet you this morning CB, I was in a bit of a mood though! - working on Saturday does that to me!!

Fail on the lights turning right into Holborn, went up the inside and hit the tape...see ya round mate. Loving the white muddies BTW

Good to meet you too, bad mood didnt show you put up with the randomness of me striking up conversation. Yeh lost you in heavy traffic but no worries probs see you at easts soon, and yeh the muddies not so usefull yesterday but when those autumn/winter rains come i will be loving them!

  • Apparently I didn't win and neither did Jimbilly. We're ok with this though as we weren't on drugs.

    Cheating fuckers!

  • these events just get better and better!

some great riding in both cats, well done guys.

hope everyone enjoyed themselves, season's getting on abit now but make the most of what we have left and come to a few saturday sessions. Then a bit of training in the winter and next summer you might be able to get beaten by MikeC!

  • MikeC is definitely on EPO, he opened a bag earlier and loads of hypodermics fell out.

  • that was his smack

  • I was just spectating due to a lack of drop bars but it was a laugh none the less.

Just out of curiosity, did any of you have a speedometer? Curious to know what speeds people were getting in sprints.

  • Thanks to the organizers. Great day out. Joe can you check your list as i won the Cat B Keirin race but you didn't announce it?
Norths on tour thanks for the support! Cliveo thanks for the offer of a cider should have grabbed it like it was my last drink! Finally thanks to the person who gave me a drink! Great day out

  • 12 cans were just not enough. Next time there will be more...

  • Fucking 531 day. Loved it. I aimed to complete 1 race, and did rather better than that. I am so chuffed. And I will treasure the spokey dokeys! Joe, Jason, everyone, you did a blinding job once again.

All that happy mood could have been spoiled by the shitty pub staffed by jobsworth cunts. It should be simple: You cook food, I try to buy food, you damn well sell me food, you uppity fucking pricks. What's so fucking difficult about that?

Thanks so much for the lift home Lynx. All my energy went on the track and I was a bit worried I had nothing left for the trip to Hackney. Get the Moulton set up in time for SE beers, or failing that Easts.

  • Wow what a great day, I went from shitting myself whilst riding on the banks to coming 3rd in two races (which I am totally stoked about). I've had a pretty shitty few months recently but the track day and then bright times made me happy beyond belief.

So without sounding like too much of a soppy cunt, new faces and old I love you lfgss.

  • Today was awesome, thanks to Jason and Rob for doing everything today and everyone who took part or just came along to shout encouragement/take the piss... Let's make sure we all repay the sponsors' goodwill by buying their fine wares whenever we get the chance; Brooks, Brixton Cycles, 14 Bike Co., Condor and Vans... Looking forward to the next one already!
PS RPM, our very own Herne Hill's Angel, rules on that derny... Track day milestone... :D
PPS And props to Jan for going out to Tesco to get more treats and keeping the cafe open late (cuz I forgot to tell her we were coming today)...

  • to the organisers thanks for a lovely day and well done to the winners.
bluequinn was an inspiration and jd crossing that finishing line and giving a little YES punch mad me fee like i had won also. that coupled with all the smiling faces and words of encouragement make you realise that this really is a great place that we need to look after. my life would be so poor if y'all weren't a part of it. x. thanks.

    sorry if i missed something.

  • Seems like i missed all the action by getting there early and leaving too early! I should have read the thread more closely:(

  • jealous, work sucks

  • who won?

  • I left the results with Rob... Hope he's still got them... :S
And I almost forgot, I scored this bad boy... Win!
