Apparently it's a mortise chisel.

Good find! Thanks

I have one somewhere as well a a kicker.
Actually, not sure I do as the chrome plating sort of peeled or came off whilst in use.

I'm starting to think there is (an old misused) one at my folks house, no chrome plating just a blue handle

Pretty cool.

That vise is incredible, it must weigh a lot
Not for flimsy workbenches. -

I visited Deen Tools in Taiwan yesterday. I managed to show a surprising amount of restraint given the array of shiny things on offer.

Team Knipex catches up with those 'saur pliers which this thread drooled over during Lockdown:

Vessel: always a thumbs-up.
What's the chromed double-handled tool? -
• #1389
It's an 1/8th hex ratchet with a pivoting head and a long extension.

Knipex Twingrips have been out for a while, I've had mine for at least a year it feels like. They are very useful for that once every few year job where you really need them!

Possibly new to this isolated island, cut adrift from mainland Europe.

cut adrift from mainland Europe
Still upset about something which happened nearly 200,000 years ago?
-
• #1393
Yes, and a more recent incident.

The new thing is the different sizes. They are great pliers but the 'saurs ones are smaller at the tip which makes it easier to get a grip on the broken tip of a screw (they are not rated for hardened steel though).
I use my twingrips a lot.

Not after porn, just good enough.
I've mislaid my flat cup and cone spanners and need to service the hubs on an Islabike cnoc 14.
Any recommendations?
Cheers

I usually end up with BBB or Cyclo when I need practical bike tools. Get the single ended ones with coated handles, they're more money but your hands will thank you.

BBB
Went with a multipack of 13, 14, 15, 16 and 17 mm sizes for £25.
More than I originally planned to spend, but should hopefully cover all bases and have the rubber handles.Cheers

BBB are legit tools. Their chain tool is better than Park’s in every way except ergonomics (wider, round PT handles are better for workshop/daily use by tired hands).

Spanners are decent. Engraved numbers are a nice touch. Thanks for the suggestion.
Looks like a stone masons tool
