  • Nido - expensive rich student living.

  • is that what it is? cheers, i had no idea. i wonder what prince charles would have to say about that building.

  • well, what he'd be happy about it is that the security is tight as fuck just to get in your room.

    missus used to stay at Nido in King's cross which was cheap at the time, but moved out because it's overridden with rich student and their daddy's gold cards, I lost countless time I have to sign in, show them my passport and get a key card just to enter the damn building (as well as permission from the missus) to visit her.

  • So I decided the night before going on holiday that I would leave all my camera gear at home and taken nothing but my new iphone4. As a working photographer this is something many people think is strange, but sometimes you get fed up with using big gear to take images, and want to challenge yourself.

    Now this was a challenge as I was going to Cornwall and would be staying in the beautiful. Town of Falmouth. It was strange for the first few days adjusting to the fixed focal length (zoom function is digital and therefore terrible ) but yeah the iphone is a worthy camera and incredibly responsive.

    All results are taken using the iPhone 4 and edited using apps on the iPhone only.

  • I can see there will be some high quality entries in the competition next week.

    Nice one dogs.

  • Never that keen on mobile phone camera but the iPhone isn't so bad;

    if anything, the clever bit is the dark secluded background with a bike in the light up space up front, which sets off the bike really nicely. emphasises it's presence.

    Thank you.. camera phones are getting better and better... it's handy. still haven't compared this shot to the ones I took on my dslr though.... Wish I had a few more pixels so I could blow it up a tad bit more....
