I thought my N97 was a bit rubbish at photos, or at least, not as good as the N95, but on some settings it seems to be better. Took some at Open House weekend... this is Roots and Shoots in Kennington:

Thats a pretty good camera on there hippy. Good edge sharpness, plus really good detail capture from a uniformly coloured surface (the grey stone, which would normally catch digital cameras out most).

not really thats pretty damn close 18% grey, flat lighting and a simple object smack in the middle. if it didn't capture that well we are in trouble
