  • I thought we started as the Women's Institute..

Only because you wanted to do a naked calendar

  • I am bringing my knitting tools. Winter is round the corner.

  • At a family wedding today, so am gutted I can't make it.

I'll be checking this thread regularly though - so keep posting updates!

  • Please MrSmyth can you wear your pinafore? If it's not to much trouble I would be very grateful.

it's in the wash, i'm having trouble getting some stains out.

  • apologies but had an op to hav my ankle reconstructed after a rugby injury on thursday. Crutches and a cast don't make for exceptional mobility so getting to the C&H and then hopping around a no doubt packed out bar doesn't strike as an ingenious move!!! I therefore will not be in attendance...i'm gutted!!

  • it's in the wash, i'm having trouble getting some stains out.

..after the photo shoot for Hippy's naked calendar? Was he trying to make you his Miss February?

  • I'm already at the c&h. Ride was quicker than I thought and I didn't get lost.
    I have headset spanner too

  • I haz Campag lockring for you... See you in 10... I shouldn't tempt fate, but I don't think my day could get much worse... :(

Unlikely I'm gonna make this so I'll free up my spot if you're not already there....

  • Johnny says that he could have Omar Shariff in a game of darts. Come down and find out how.....

  • too busy with domestic issues.....

gutted no beer no hippy. Sorry!

  • A very good afternoon at the C&H. Thank you to Jonny for organising and good to meet some more forum folks. And good brownies and flapjacks, Fluff.

  • Shame to miss the stage (we were busy fretting/trying to move into our non-existent new flat), but thanks to all for taking our minds off a very stressful day... Lots of flats to see today, onward and upward...
Yours living amoungst a mountain of boxes, Joe, Lori and Erin... x

  • good luck with the flat-hunt, joe. sorry to hear that you guys couldn't move yesterday.

  • That sucks Joe. Good luck in finding somewhere quickly.

  • nice afternoon that turned into evening. it took me 4 hours to leave.
i don't think anyone won the sweepstake (the only time i wanted lance to win the stage) so i think the money goes to the forum?

  • Ja.

That was another fun arvo south of the river. Can you believe my mate is selling his house in Camberwell... and I'm interested in it? Uh oh.. anyone got cheap suits of troll armour they wanna sell?

Sorry I didn't make the bbq Dammit - the bar their had magnetic properties or something. I did eventually stagger back to the office and get my bike. Even stopped by the bar and called Mal for a fly-by snog (and so she could remind me where I lived again). ;)

Thanks BDW and MrSmyth for the contraband, i mean coffee. Tried some of yours as espresso just now MS.. it poured perfectly and tasted (and this is where I struggle - tasting in isolation) nice.

    Thanks everyone.

  • You missed a low key but thoroughly lovely BBQ, pics coming soon.

  • Mmmmmmeat... mmmm...

camberwell is brilliant...don't believe the hype of bad stuff! It's a great place to live as no tube keeps the fuck wits away! a couple of good pub's and se and south drinks equal distance away!

  • is Gerald snoring there?

  • Yeah.. I've been there all hours and never had an issue (other than self-inflicted ones). ;)

  • Gerald was indeed snoring away- our sofa seems to have the ability to put Gerald to sleep in seconds.

  • literally seconds
