Spirea X Formed out of the ashes of the original jangly Primal Scream line up.
Saw the original Primal Scream line up in 1986 supporting Julian Cope, complete with a tambourine bothering Jim Beattie.
Spirea X of course also the B side to the early Primal Screams finest moment, Velocity Girl.

^ that's wicked!
Singers & Players LPs are amazing.
That Govinda's House isn;t a patch in the original house mix (it was all 808 State-ish) but the original 'Govinda' on 'Seven' is beautiful. Possibly on of my favourite LPs ever.

A deeply unfashbionable band. I loved them.

Always, even the goths that like Bauhaus get treated like outcasts! but i concur, still probably the best gig ive ever been to.....but then i am little bit in love with Peter Murphy...

See^, I'm not mad. Even other Goths hated bauhaus fans... what hope did we have? I kept pretty quiet about it actually.

Shit I was never ashamed of liking them. I think Americans might have had a much cooler take on them.

i think the problem was that at the time the music press cast them off very very quickly as pretentious art school wank in favour of more fashionable post punk/new romantic rubbish and overlooked the genius within, which did them alot of damage in terms of peoples perception of them.......not that I was there or anything :P (but from what ive read/long conversations ive had)

Horatio that's fucking bonkers I love it. (Dat Politics)
No! It was a dub of this, the only artist from On-U that you can buy for peanuts on ebay, deeply lame sub-rave production but which sounded pretty fresh for BBC2 at the time.
YouTube - There's Something Wrong With Human Nature - Gary Clail - Emotional Hooligan - Dubb
I'm still sure the theme for Snub was The Barmy Army or similar but maybe changed to this ^ for the last series
Doing. My. Head. In - must hear it again.......
Only kidding man. You can post whatever the f you want.
