No need for you to go anthing over 32 on a cxp33 IMHO.
wouldn't it have been easier to answer the guy
I think the point is he (and others) already has on previous threads.
rather than be an aussie prick
Cant see this being harder. I think being an Aussie prick is a natural talent. (insert sarcasm smilie here)

rather than type nasty stuff why not try posting nothing at all
leave it to people who can be arsed to help out the newbiesi would recommenr 36 because they are extra strong
the extra weight is minimal and you'll get a good bullet proof wheel that'll take most things you can throw at it -

i know theres a school teacher in all of us trying to get out give advise tell people what they should be doing but i really don't think there is any point in giving out crap

Tried it, too boring. Normal service resumed, let the flaming commence ;)

VB has a nursery period where people are encouraged to search, read, absorb the nature of the forum before posting and yet they continue to post questions that have already been answered.
If you want more opinions on a topic, bump the topic.
If you want fast answers to questions that have already been covered, expect to be flamed. -

Next up, jostling. Every forum has it's fair share of new members being initiated by the old timers by some friendly ribbing. But sometimes this can go too far, especially if (without searching first) you ask an oft-repeated, tired, or dumb question in your first post. It's not pleasant to watch new members get ripped to shreds, and really I'm doing you the biggest favour by forcing you to search first and look around before you ask... the guys here can be merciless towards the new, so say hello first and search thoroughly before you ask stuff. The result, yeah there's still some jostling, but not much, and the place is a hell of a lot friendlier for it and that is priceless.

poor newbies
You're just trying to gloss over the fact that you advised 36 spokes on a already stiff as feck cxp33 rim ;)
I'm 12.5 stone and my cxp33s rims are laced 32 spoke 3x, and if I'm honest about it slightly overbuilt.

Hippy could you please help me with my rim problem? I have a decision to make and need you vast experience on rims to help me.

Being a mighty 75 kg according to my scales this morning I have opted for 36 spokes on exactly the build that the OP is thinking about- DA high flange to CXP33.
I am building in some overhead in terms of strength as I don't think that I will notice the weight of four extra spokes and nipples.
Also the four extra holes drilled in the hub and rim will undoubtedly save some weight.
That said my road bike has something like 20 spokes rear and 18 front, and they are true as the day that I got them.

Vaseline might burn a little on initial application but in the long run it's better...

I got the same amount of shit from Bollocki last week when I asked what I now realise was a particularly daft question. Certain individuals on here showed me the error of my newbie ways and now I'm petrified to ask any questions without spending a period of time on here doing the "lfgss knowledge".

Is this similar to the memory issue that has you poking peoples bottoms?

You have a wicked username though, so you should be fine. Ahh those were the days, when a Capri 2.8i was considered the height-of-cool car.

What of my halitosis though, kind sir?

Yes, but we learnt alot about gold that day :)
Yeah, only loosen the drive-side spokes for better skidding. Loosen the non drive-side spokes for better braking power.
