32c I think is the max.

Durano plus.

Widest version is 28c? How about 35c Resist Nomads? Don't you have them on your Brooklyn? Bit on the heavy side, but weight isn't high on my priority list.

Resists are very light and very fast for their size, punctured mine once but yet to skid through in 2 months of brakelessness but I know people who would kill them in a week or two cough Sven cough

Does anywhere stock the tanwall nomads in 28/35c?

Is there any point in throwing my money at a pair of GP 4000 S2 or should I just go with the cheaper S version...?
-
• #687
With the "old" GP4000s going for £25 and the "new" just being an update (according to Continental), I'm stockpiling them (unless you really just have to have the new sizes/colours).

Yeah that is kinda what I figured.... Well I'd better get involved before you buy them all!

Hi all
Im after some white tyres that are suitable for London Roads. Sick of getting slow leak punctures.
Winstanley have Maxxis Refuse in white. Waiting for black but white were offered as immediately available alternative.

Fuck yeah
-
• #692
I've been countless sets of tyres over the years.. even I'd use free Contis (until they exploded of course)
-
• #693
Tempted to go with these, any experience?

Can't decide between Ruffy Tuffy and Roll-y Pol-y...
-
• #695
Choose the one that'll fit in your clearance, or narrow rims = narrower tyres.
-
• #696
28 will fit, they're both 28, but ruffy is kevlar enforced and rolly is ligher/faster/more sensitive... Damn compromises, why do they exist?! :)
-
• #697
Rolly.

Amazing, my LBS is on the list. I'll give em a shout now.

Rolly.
It is basically a heads and toes decision so let it be Rolly then. It will probably cost me later but at least it will be bananas while it lasts. After Rolly gives up I might switch to Ruffy, but if Rolly proves to be robust enough it could be an ideal tire, heard great things about it. Plus, checkerboard pattern, one cannot deny the importance of checkerboard pattern.

I got the jack brown greens over the blues (i think the differences are similar to the rolly vs ruffy) and ive not even had a puncture yet in 1000+ miles
I skidded a big apple for ages and didn't kill it
