Budget indoor track clinchers:
Vittoria Zaffiro pro slick or
Vittoria tri evo? (Can get a pair of either for roughly same ££)Tri evos seem like they’d be more grippy but will I keep falling off my bike into a lake?

Planet X have a discount code offer on tyres at the moment. Rubber30 gets you 30% off at checkout.

I just got the Corsa g+ twin pack with latex tubes for about that from PBK.

Vittoria tri evo is a fast tire, if high pressure/very smooth surface (=track I guess). So if they are cheap that would be a good choose

Cool cheers, I might give them a whirl

Cheers for the heads up - been after a new set & that's the best price I've seen.

I've put mine on and they look loads whiter than my last set - I was trying to work out if there was a paler colourway but couldn't find it. It may just be that the old set are dirtier... I forgot how noisy a new pair are; so satisfyingly sticky!

Ha, I think you just become acclimatised to the dirt - you never quite can get them as clean they are brand new.
Oh yes, I love that sound. Best feeling tyres I've ever ridden.
Bike is looking fast!

Yeah, was umming and ahhing about gp5000 but just couldn't do it. I always make the mistake of pumping these up too high and having to let a bit of air out after a bit; at about 80/85 they're so lovely.

Anyone tried these? Or Something similar, seems like there’s a couple that have appeared recently. More of a MTB thing I guess but they’re doing them in ‘gravel’ sizes too.

This might be a stupid question but if I were to get a pair of 32mm Gravel Kings, what size inner tube would I need to go for? I noticed some tubes are 25-32 and then 32+
The alternative is to run them tubeless but I am not particularly confident in setting up tubeless -
• #6139
Check the sidewall says tlc (panaracers tubeless tyres have this ), have you definitely got tubeless rims? If you have both these, go tubeless, you'll need rim tape, tubeless sealant and a valve (your local bike shop will have these, and probably help you set em up.
If not stick a 25-32 tube in. -

I need 32-35c tyres with good grip, ideally <£50 for a pair. I have no tyre expertise and am drowning in tabs. Have previously just bought kenda small block 8s at regular intervals, but wondering if there are better alternatives? Pls help.

Pls help.
Sound very life-threatening.
Need more information thought, road? off road? commuting? prommuting? etc.

Right. I’m modifying my 531cs holdsworth to use for light touring and gravel path hauling. I’m getting canti studs on to allow for wider tyres and mudguard clearance. Thinking 35mm and looking for durability as well as low rolling resistance. Weight isn’t a worry. Thinking Vittoria voyager hyper atm, thoughts? Considering 650b too, to get some extra room without having to crimp the stays, no idea what’s available in that size though...

Any recommendations for easy fitting 25c road tyres? My 'bargain' chinese wheels seem to be fractionally larger in diameter than my stock wheels which makes fitting my current tyres (gp4000) a massive pita. Thanks in advance.

I had hypers. Fast, cheap, durable, not heavy

A pretty even mix of road and off road. Not really much mud (or if there is, it's the thin, watery kind, not the claggy CX kind), more stones/shingle/dust. I will sacrifice speed for grip. I should just get the kendas - I always regret change.

Conti contact sport, cheap. Panaracers paselas, bit dearer. Gravelking sks, bit more dearer.

Look to be too slide-y. I have worn my kendas down to a totally smooth tread over the course of 6 months or so. These look like they will get trashed in no time.
Thank you for the recommendations, though - I do appreciate it!!

Have a pair of Gravelking sk that have lasted 18 months, mixed road, towpath and bridleway, only get in trouble in muddy conditions, even then I plod on.
Maybe stick with the kendas, but 6 months isn't long, unless you ride fook loads of miles. -

I commuted on pasela tourguards for 2 years and they showed almost no sign of wear at all when I took them off. Switched them over to gravelking slicks to try out tubeless and they roll nicer than the paselas but probably wont last as long.

Pirelli or s works turbos.
Both slip onto my rims without tyre levers.
LadyLiz has had over a year of puncture free commuting on London’s famous roads and canal paths with ruffy tuffys. Can’t comment on if they’re any good for skidding but they seem to do the trick.
Sidewalls clean up like new easily as well.
