Aggh, CRC and Jenson don't have voyager hyper in stock. I need them shipped to Canada.
edit: Oh wiggle does have 35mm vogager hypers, so another question: should I get 35mm or 38mm ?

Currently running Continental Sport Contact 2's (the diamond file pattern) in 32 and they're awesome. However, can only get the 42's from Germany. Anyone know anywhere in the UK I could get them?

25mm tan wall corsa g+ for £30, would buy a pair myself but I don't really need any more tyres right now...
Edit- guess someone saw this and jumped on it...

Does anybody have any experience with the new schwalbe luganos? They're currently on sale for 6,50€ here: https://www.athleteshop.nl/schwalbe-tyre-28-700x25c-25-622-lugano-kevlarguard-black
Given that they resemble the durano, is it reasonable to assume that they will last longer than the old ones? I know you can't expect a hq tire at this price but it seems like a good deal.

For what it's worth, the one review says:
'After 6000km the rear tyre needed to be replaced. No punctures, good grip and very cheap.'

Probably won't last 6k on a fixeh skidder but I guess I'll give them a try at this price :)

Not having ran 23s or 25s for years....the new bike can only just take a 25 in the back. What's best for all round riding that won't puncture regularly.

The new ones are definitely better than the old, I can't comment on their longevity as I replaced them after a couple of weeks but in that time the rolled nice enough.

Thanks for the info, sounds good enough for me at this price :)

Has anyone heard any news about when the new range of Vittoria Pista tyres is due out?

Conti gp 4 seasons or schwalbe marathon plus.

Wondering how people get on with the Challenge Strada Bianca Open 30c gumwalls? Want to be able to take it on a lite cycle tour (30 miles a day).
England countryside cycling and whatever that entails.
I'm not quite ready to go 32c. Also my internal rim width is about 17mm.

They don't make Marathon+ in 25c (thankfully, they'd be grim).

Available in 25c up to 47c...

I stand corrected! Still doesn't make it a good idea in 25c...

Tire of the year.

For £ Lifeline road armour, no punctures as yet after what must be a couple of thousand Ks, pulled a dirty bit of Flint out of my front yesterday and rode it 50k home, no issues! Great grip, I hit all the same ice everyone else I did and stayed upright and £14 a tyre.
For £££ GP4Seasons

If you want marathon style tyres but less wooden, get Duranos, I think they do a 'double defence' version, many people recommend them as particularly puncture resistant road tyres.

@Phyllis
The duranos look pretty good. I got Michelin Pro4 Endurance when I wanted 25c, but only because they were good value when on offer. No worries after several 1000k and still going strong. -

rode it 50k home
That's a long commute

25c GP4kII, 26c Spesh Turbo Cottons or 28c Corsa G+ for my Volare?
Spent all of last year on Turbo Cottons and love them, but they are £££

If you opt for the Vittoria, give me a shout before you buy: mine are unused and likely to stay that way in the immediate future, so I might as well pass them on.

Who said anything about a commute!?
Don't thank me, plenty of others on here recommended before me.
